Hey, I'm just now getting into tinkering with the user interface via uofiddler. I want to see everyones work... right now mine is a WIP, any feedback would be appreciated TY


Here is my login screen currently
and here are the gumps ive changed atm

That's really nice work! I'm jealous... never been able to even install UOFiddler on any computer I've owned. Always some problem with my .NET framework. I've seen some other mods similar to yours but they were mostly more decorative than practical. Your red backpack really makes the items inside stand out well!

Ty, Harper! that's really what i was going for. a bit of deco, plus practicality. one thing i did not show here was my journal, another player actually did the edit to it, just made it slightly darker, kinda silver colored so the text could be seen more easily. I am going to edit those two blue buttons on the paperdoll to silver and black and then i may work on editing the pouches and chests, and eventually the top menu bar. i want it all one blended cohesive theme i think. I really like the personal sigils I added to the login and main backpack... they are actually going to be my next tattoo. it's a shame you cant get fiddler to work, it's really fun to dabble with. Im running on xp sp 3 with dot net 3.0 i believe.

If you wanted to create a custom universal UO Evolution custom graphics/gumps I would add them to our future patches and upcoming launcher:)

Well, we shall see what i can come up with. Dante and I are working on something right now.. as far as chaning additional gumps that will have to depend on you dante... but im sure we can figure it out haha... I've been playing with a new login page as we speak.

I find this very interesting, to say the least, but I do request that if this goes "Live" for Evo, may we have the option to decide individually, which we choose: Standard or EVOutionized?


My one system is very crabby & doesnt like much in the way of video display or CPU demand. Im sure Im not the only one with a resource issue, please keep this in mind for us?

Sage, i totally understand that concern, but as of now all it is going to be is a new login gump. Actually im doing all this editing on a system with no major video card, its a 15 year old gateway pc with an intel celeron processor and less than a gig of ram., so far everything loads just fine, and im not going to begin to touch the animations or anything like that. all the image files used in this are right at the same filesize as the previous ones even. basically all im doing is changing the color and minor details in the shape. hope that eases your worries.. and if not, well then you can do a simple backup of your older art files before the patch and i can help you put them back in (just copying and pasting a file or two)

Agni, your a kind soul! *hugs* & I enjoy your vision & thank you for your efforts & willingness to share with us (I REALLY like your work!).

Perhaps, describe here how to assign the files properly for all of us silly bumbleheads (*giggles*), so we have the information readily at hand.

(Or better yet, have it posted on the DL page for the update, how to handle this situation/subject?)
