Stealable Guide
How to Steal
Learn how to perform the art of Stealing
Stealing from players is very different than finding the rare stealables around the world. Remember you can only steal from players on the Felucca Facet, the rare stealable items can be found on any facet
Where can I find the stealables?
Where can I find the stealables?...in towns and dungeons mostly, but sometimes can be found outside of those areas too.
They may have an artifact rarity number or a weight. If those numbers are 15, you need 150 to steal, 12 means 120 and so on. Some special custom stealables do not have those numbers so there is no way to know what skill level you will need - more than likely, they require a high skill level if they are special.
There are some items in the world that have a rarity and weight and they appear to be a stealable but may only be deco and not a stealable.
How to know if an item is a true stealable
When you attempt to steal an item you have the possibility of receiving 1 of the following 3 messages:
Message #1 "you fail to steal the item" - means that the item is a stealable but you were unable to steal it. This could mean that you simply failed at this attempt, or your skill level is not high enough to steal that item.
Message #2 - "you can't steal that" - means that the item is not a stealable and is only deco. No matter how many times you attempt, you will not be able to steal it.
Message #3 - "you successfully steal the item" Yay!!
The skill needed for stealables ranges from 100 - 450. Keep in mind, If an item requires 200 skill to steal and you have 200 skill, it may still require multiple attempts to steal the item.
Many of the original UO Stealables require 100 stealing and can be found throughout Doom, Stygian Abyss, Yomotsu Mines and other random areas. There are runebooks to these locations at the NEW Guild Library.
We have many custom stealables. The custom stealables are seasonal according to a holiday, or random stealables outside of holidays.
Some high-level custom stealables may be hidden and will require the Detect Hidden Skill to find them. Clues are provided for any hidden stealables and most likely will require high stealing skill to steal once found.
If you find a stealable that you are not able to steal, you might ask if someone will steal it for you. We have players that have built great suits for stealing and detecting. Some players will steal it for you just so they know the location of the stealable for the next time it spawns.

Halloween Stealables
All Halloween Stealables will be spawned during the month of October. The majority are located throughout the different sections of Haunted Hallows (not in the Mad Scientist dungeon).
There are also special stealables in the graveyards on different facets (not Tokuno or Malas). There are stealables for all skill levels, but the rare and hidden items will require high skill.
Hades Stealables
Hades Stealables - are not easy. It is a pvp dungeon - so go at your own risk.
Some items will require a skill of 300 and above stealing.
The Fire and Brimstone pieces are hidden and will require high detect and stealing.
Some items do not look like the actual stealable you will get. They can look like anything in the dungeon until you steal them.
Many items will not highlight with control/shift but if you click on them, they will say "stealable item".
Some items may look like a stealable, but instead be Hades Tears when you steal it.
When using Detect Hidden, if you are near an item, you will get a special message. It does not mean you have the skill to detect it, it simply means you are in the area of an item - you may or may not have the skill to detect it.
If you steal a statue, it will appear in your pack as a large marble block. You must contact Sayla to place the actual statue for you
