I have finally made my Assassin, so now I have to decide which abilities are worth levelling past 100 and which ones to stack via clothing.

I also have several other questions as well.

Which would be better to stack anatomy or tactics?

Which would be more effective for an Assassin, Necromancy or Magery?
I am going to train Spellweaving as well.

Does having poisoning skill higher than 100 increase the effectiveness of your poison based skills and spells?

For poisoning I plan on using the Parasitic Poison to give myself a lot of health regen.  I wish I could use a true dual wield style, then I could use different poisons on each blade, but I do not think that is possible in the game.

Would a Dexterity/Intelligence build be superior to a Stregth/Dexterity or Strength/Intelligence build?

Which Ninja/Assassin weapons would be the best to use?
I am wanting to use weapon attack speed to overcome the damage gap of not using a two handed weapon, if possible.
I am wanting to avoid the usual Whirlwind style of play, as I have that on my main character.  Although using whirlwind with a poison might have interesting effects as well.

Since theres no skill cap you should push anything you can up to 120.
I dont know exactly what you mean by an assassin build, but I assume you're thinking more of a sampire type build?

120 bushido
120 ninjitsu
 120 parry
 120 swordsmanship/melee skills
120 tactics
120 spirit speak
120 chiv
120 necro
 120 magic resist
120 healing
I mean 120 everything you can..

Anatomy incrases your damage increase by 5% per 10 points of anatomy. It also increases healing done with the healing skill.
Tactics increases base damage by your skill points +50% (for example, at 120 skill points you will deal 170% of your base damage, while a fighter with no skill will only deal 50%).
And if you get higher skill points in swordsmanship/other wep skills, you will hit your opponet more often.

A dex/str build would be best but they cap here. 165 for dex.... LAME I know.. Cant really build a true dexxer without being able to get to 220 dex. And str caps at 150.. Again kind of lame but nothing we can do about that.

I dont really use poisons so cant help you there. They seems like more of a hassle than worth using since theres a way to cure almost no matter what position your in. I mean maybe helps in pvp or something.

You dont want to use a WW wep play style.. Try a Leaf Blade or another wep with Feint as the primary ability with your assassin build. Feint reduces damage coming from the attacker by about 50% and with the leaf blade you also have AI(armor ignore)

Hope this helps

By Assassin build, while similar to Samurai goes more for the stealth and fights underhanded.

So skills like Ninjitsu, stealth, stealing, poison, etc.  Uses more potions and smoke bombs as well.  Possibly even throwing if I can save enough for 2 skill balls and the 120 scroll for it.

Looks like I am going to have to go technical for this though and build some spread sheets to help myself build the character properly.  It will go on my list of things to build the spreadsheets for, after my crafting, taming, and breeding testing is done.  Lot on my list for down the road, at least I will not have a lack of things to do.
