Greetings all.  Some time ago I had made a donation to the shared and started up and account.  I then got really busy with real life and promotion at work.  I am now trying to make a comeback.  *Queue Eye of the Tiger*  I have move of the important skills at 100 and a few running 120.  I did spend some EDs on some gear, so I'm rolling in leather or anything.  What I am looking for and have not been able to find is where to go from where I am.  I'm not a new UO player but it has been some time since I have last played.  I watched the Lancster video that was posted to the Facebook page and saw some things that I had not seen before.  Like the in the lower corner call protect?  I'm not asking for a road map, just looking for a direction to head as a more or less solo player (not by choice, usually).  I have few screen caps of gear for some extra data. 

It would be easier to help you in game or in TeamSpeak honestly.  However we can still try at least after some questions are answered of course.


Do you plan to be a Dexer or Mage?  That would help us show you the gear to go for.


What do you like to do?  Some love the fighting and some love the crafting and others love other things they find themselves doing here.


As far as basic upgrades for your gear, I would change the gloves to Antiquity.  They will last you most if not all of the game.  They are usually about 100k on a vendor if you don't end up looting one pretty soon.

Man, I'm sorry.  I worked hard on getting as much information as possible to help. 


I am usually a dexxer and really ride the line on fighting and crafting.  But I have been leaning heavy on the fighting side.  There is something about watching a big baddy fall at the end of a good fight.

Go and do the elf quest today.  Then you can replace the Pad of the Cu Cidhe with other footwear that will help more.

You will want a one handed deed for your weapon eventually.  Have some of the Crafters, like Bobthebuilder, Shena, Old Dirty, etc check it out before you add the deeds just to make certain you are using it on one that will last you forever.


Replace your shield with Fever Fall, usually about 100k.
Jewellery you will eventually want Swords and Tactics for them.  For now find a sword and parry one if you can, they will help you survive a lot of fighting.
Your belt is a good one, but I would replace it with a Belt of Fortune.


When I get on my computer I will fill this out more and list some items you may enjoy fighting to get.


Of course if you have spare ED, then some of the Higher End items are available from other players then.

Okay I have done the elven race change quest.  What should I be looking for for foot gear?

Either the Titan Sandals (easy quest) or Boots of the Trinsic Knight (has 15% LRC) for the boots.
