Hiya,

My Brother wants to start playing Ultima. He's going to play primarily on his laptop using the same IP as me (Already contacted admin to set up another account).

My question is whether he can play on his Kindle Fire Tablet whilst at work? He's using mobile internet so using a remote desktop thingy like VNC is I think out of the question cos the bandwidth will be limited.

I'm not great with computers (couldn't even install .net (dotnet) on WINE.) so be gentle with me :)

Thanks :)

Yes you can play on a windows tablet, BUT I found it difficult to play without the use of a mouse.  Many of the commands and movement were very hard to operate.  You would also need the 1 gig download, patch/client also you would need the .net framework.  Read the 'how to connect" section of the wiki for detailed info and links

Err, so ran into a problem as soon as I started. Does anyone know how to install .net framework on an android jelly bean device? :/ is there a Windows emulator or something?

Is it Unix based? Mono can run .net applications. You use it on Linux to host runuo or other emulators.
