From Harper:

Alchemy, Disco and Provo Tips

I wanted to make time to help out with this post. I want to contribute to the community. I can see that helping people with macros is important to you since you posted so many. I usually tell people to learn how to write their own, lol. And in a perfect world they would but I guess in the real world they just ask someone else or give up, so what the heck. Here are my suggestions for improving this thread:

Alchemy:

0 - 30 - Buy skill from NPC Alchemist
30 - 50 - Lesser Poison
50 - 65 - Poison
65 - 95 - Greater Poison
90 - 120 - Deadly Poison

These are not "hard" numbers, just rough estimates. Actual skill cap for each tier may vary slightly. The reason you make only poison potions is because you absolutely should train Poisoning concurrently with Alchemy. To not train them together would be a colossal waste of time and resources. Every time you make a poison potion, immediately use that potion to poison a dagger, and repeat. At each level your Alchemy gains will stop before your Poisoning does but always wait until skill gain in Poisoning stops before moving to a higher level poison. You'll save yourself a ton of backtracking and time doing it this way.

Cooking (to add to what you already have there): This is not a difficulty-based skill. Cooking one fish steak at a time will take you all the way to GM skill.

Forensic Evaluation (current text talks about guard-whacked corpses at Brit Bank, that would almost never happen here): Stand in an area heavily populated with weak animals (Trammel T2A is good for this). Attack one, kill it, use Forensic Eval on the corpse and set a macro to use the skill every two seconds on Last Target. That's good for as long as it takes the corpse to decay (around seven minutes). Kill another animal, repeat to GM skill.

Discordance: Train up your Animal Lore to GM or 120 first according to that guide. Buy as much Discordance as you can from an NPC Bard, this should get you close to 30 skill. Then use Animal Lore on creatures to see their "Barding Difficulty". That number represents the skill needed to have a 50% chance of success. So you can gain skill off of any creature with a Barding Difficulty that is roughly within +/- 20 skill points of your Discordance skill. At low skill that can be almost anything. At higher levels of skill (around 80+), you'll want to switch to high-level mobs. There are three good places for this:

Level 2 of Despise - Lure an Ogre Lord to the cliff northwest of the island, stand above it.
Wyvern Island - stand on a boat
Spectre Dungeon, Ilshenar - Ethereal Warriors are non-aggressive if you have positive karma

Here's an example of a good Discord macro:

This targets an Ethereal Warrior for Discordance, looks for a new tambourine if one is used up, casts Invisibility with Target Self followed by about 17 seconds of Pause (which breaks Discord, allowing you to try again) on a successful attempt and also casts Invis/Target Self with pause if there was any hiccup which causes Razor to miss the success message.

Provocation : see Harper's guide here: http://uoevolution.com/forum/index.php?topic=7566.msg21383#msg21383

She has been maintaining her boats for months but even if they ever decay, you can place new boats and follow the same instructions.

Thank you Harper for the nice contribution!

Found a nice way to do cooking, I had read on another forum that you could make dough to GM cooking.

Set steam to record.
Had the Gump open for the cooking tool.
Made dough.
Made dough.
Made dough.
Used a water pitcher at a friends house and had it target the water trough there to refill it, after attempting to make 3 dough.
Put in a pause of 300 between each step.
Went back and told it to stop recording.
Other than having to go around and buy more flour it ran smoothly.  Beat my friend to GM cooking, since his macro had him pulling the flour out of a box in his house and putting it in his inventory.

Use a crafting talisman with a bonus to cooking.  To get cooking to 120, make flour bombs.  Same thing as a smoke bomb from alchemy.  Uses eggs and flour so rather cheap to level it up with.

You can get alchemy to 120 making smoke bombs as well.  Uses eggs and ginger.

This is the cheapest route to get cooking to 120 from lvl 30 and alchemy from 90 to 120.

You can probably find someone to buy the smoke bombs afterwards as well.
