Seems we have a few cheaters on the shard.  I went on a banning spree yesterday as a few might of noticed.  I have no time for cheaters and Evo won't be their home.  This is going to take me a few days go through the logs and unravel who else, seems some of the stuff they were doing is actually logged and combining that with the fact I keep a backup for each day.. we can find out who is cheating.  I am going to switch gears for a few days then, do some pet coding while I investigate.  (Turning on stat loss for pets hit a bit hard)

Dante is being nice though, if you did find an exploit you can speak to Dante.  While he might take some gold and such from you it will be far better then if you sit back for me to get to you.  If I get to you before you speak to Dante there is no or will be no second chance.  Your screen will go black, your accounts will be locked without me hearing your excuse why cheating is okay or you just did it a little.  I knew I had a gold exploit on the shard and we finally found it. For that I do apologize because this effects everyone, please know we have been looking for this trying to figure it out.

If you wish to gamble on if I get to you, go ahead.  Cheaters do not get 2nd chances though, there will be no conversation in a few months with you saying "Can I please come back I am sorry".  It will fall on deaf ears. 

For the rest, again I am sorry but rest assured we will clean the mess up very quickly.

To me this is better than a content update. It places everyone back on a level playing field.

Warning! Gold Exploit

The Staff has recently uncovered a major gold exploit being used by several players on this shard.  Kane spent an entire day to fix this exploit. 

I can't tell you how disappointing it was to have to ban 7 players already over this abuse of the OUR shard!

As a player here at UO Evolution, you should try and protect the shard from exploiters, griefers or any other influence that would ruin your experience

If you have been involved with this exploit, please turn yourself in, before we catch you. We are currently reviewing the logs.  Dante will assess the acct and grant amnesty to honest players that come forward. Kane has added code that will report anyone attempting this exploit and deliver the info to our logs.  If you are caught, there will be no warning...

If any player has any info regarding other players involved in this exploit, please contact Dante immediately.  The info will remain private.

You truly don't know how happy this makes me. I'm so glad these scummy players were removed and the economy can get back to balance.
