So for clarification:

That would be a minus 70 Versus a minus 20... or an additional negative 20 points of resistance points now is lowered?

I don't use evil omen much.  I take this as a Magery buff??

No, what he means is currently any time someone casts evil omen on a player target, their resisting spell drops to 50. Regardless if your resist was 70, 80 ,100 or 120. So now what happens is if you have gear that raises your resist to say 170, then evil omen will drop you to 100 resisting spells.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he means that instead of evil omen dropping your resisting spells to a flat 50, like it always has, it will now drop your resisting spells BY 70, in order to scale with people's skills being over 120.
So for example, if you have 170 resisting spells at the time you're hit with an evil omen, it will drop you to 100 (a -70 penalty), instead of from 170 down to 50 (a -120 penalty).
Example 2: At 200 resisting spells, you would drop to 130, before, you could have 200 resisting spells and get hit with an evil omen, and it would still drop you to 50 (a -150 penalty, ouch!), which kind of made having any resisting spells bonus pointless.
Good idea, imo. Makes a use for all them +20 resisting spells red tunics ;P

The March Madness of Leprechaun pursuit has kicked in!  Hunt for Goblin Thieves & get "Leprechaun Gold" (Green Gold, [grab will get them for you, once you add to your list) off them. You will also find piles of "Leprechaun Gold" on the ground. To get these, you will have to double click the pile, then pick up what is remaining on the ground.

Gather your new green hoard & goto "The Lucky Tavern" (Moongate[MG]>Quest, Events, Games> The Lucky Tavern), & find the "Blarney Stone" ON the Large Long table. The Blarney Stone is a slot machine with various prizes (check its gump for more details). Spend your Shiny new  "Leprechaun Gold" to get an assortment of possible rewards. A new reward possibility is pieces of "Uisneach's Alchemy Garb". Details are sketchy, Expo posted a wonderful info-vid segment to enlighten us a tad more.
