Shard Update 7-11-2014

  • Fixed Daat99 Control Center Serialize error
  • Fixed Global Chat System: Improved error catching
  • Added the order list to Balzon Marcos - Quest Issue
  • All Tree deco made into deeds
  • Storage Keys moved to new shop locations, collection quests added
  • New Deco Added in shop locations
  • Updated the Vecna Quest, wiki story updated, Kas added, Kas armor added
  • Added Undead Gargoyle Horn Collection Quest
  • Added all the herbs to the stone vendor
  • Solved the house drop crash issue and removed offending item
  • Updated Wiki
  • Updated website
Added New Donation Bonus/Pet of the Month
  • Advanced Iron Golem: Bonus ore when mining
  • Advanced Iron Golem: Chance for bonus granite when mining
  • Advanced Iron Golem: Better chance at granite then normal iron golem.
  • Advanced Iron Golem: More ability points then normal Iron Golems
  • Advanced Iron Golem: Stats and Resists set accordingly
Updated Crafted Iron Golems:
  • Iron Golem: Math error when figuring out if Smelting is Enabled.
  • Iron Golem: Can now mine for granite (The chance of mining is based on the skill of the tinker that crafted it)
  • Iron Golem: Color on and Color off will cause the golem to not change color based on ore found.  This will allow you to keep the backpack open.
  • Iron Golem: Stats and Resists changed for any new creation.
  • Containers: Added GolemBackpack, this mob pack allows for providing an int for the weight
  • Runic Fletcher Tools: Now displays name properly
  • Runic Tools (Donation): Now display they are [Donation], they require no skill to use unlike normal runic tools.
  • BaseChampion: When champs die outside of Fel there is a chance of either nothing or level deeds (To be expanded) Fel is still the only place Powerscrolls drop from champs
  • Serpents Fang High Executioner: Key drop chances increased.
  • Agahnim(Fel Version): Has a chance of dropping the mirror shield, fairy sword, nothing.. and you
  • Ancient Dragons: Each now broken off into an individual mob, this prevents the stealing design flaw and allows for customization in the future
  • Ancient Dragon Skulls added
  • Stealables: Added 6 new ones
  • Pet Info Gump: If the NeverBreeds flag is true there will be no option to breed
  • Magic Cloth Deeds:  Now allows for an optional arguement for individual item creation
  • Greater Magic Cloth Deed: There is no chance for an item to be created less then +5 (Will be added to rewards in the next update)
  • Sockets: Removed the talisman check from the armor function and created a new socket talisman function.
  • Socket Hammer for Jewelry added (Testing)
  • Socket Hammer for Talisman added (Testing)

Note:
A few things did not make it in this update that I had desired, greater cu sidhe, new bod rewards, new treasure map rewards and new treasure chest rewards.  I promise they will be in next friday's update.

What are these socket hammers you speak of? Remove/Add Augments?

We are working to hand over the adding of sockets to players, so it is being tested first.

Kane noticed my Golem stopped mining when he was at max weight today, which is great.  How about a message kind of like when they say they can't mine here, maybe a "I'm overweight and can't continue to mine" kind of thing.

  How about the Golem is coded to return to its owner-- if nearby-- when it is max loaded?

I don't think anything else needs to be added to the champs.


Other things need to be added to the game besides... get a few pieces of gear... go do champs.. end of story.......
There has got to be other things to do....

The extra argument is only relevant for the staff. So they could for example add a deed for a specific skill or set of skills to a new boss or limit the range from +x to +y for the deeds in a specific chest. Thats at least what i guess.

Basically what Typhor said, some update notes are for staff, some are for me in the future and most are for players so they can see what is being done all the time. 

The magic cloth deed line is a good example, because if you noticed in the most recent update we added Greater Magic Cloth Deeds.  Rather then duplicating the current way or creating a new way I simply expanded the current functionality so that I could add new stuff to it.  What happens is I get a few minutes here and there to work on some odd things so I do stuff like that and in a few weeks I am able to complete a small side project which offers something new.

As far as Champs go.. I am in watch mode at present for them, I know I want to add new champs but as far as changing anything to do with current champs I do not see that happening until I get enough data to know what is the best course to go.  This does not mean I am happy with it but I think we are getting close to a decent foundation to start growth from.

@Sturger:  I need time to play and test the check a tamed mob if overweight type functionality before I can attempt that.  I played with a few ideas regarding it and found a few holes.  So if I coded it the next message would be, why doesn't this work all the time?  When I get some free time I will look into it, until then probably will not happen.  For now treat it like pet HP's in a fight, you just need to watch it.

Is there any information on the new Donation Golems on the wiki or is this something for in the future?
We are testing atm, and will have info soon
