We had a rough week with a few crashes here and there so I would like to say thanks for everyone not just putting up with it but also helping us nail down the issue.  Once we were able to figure out the kind of code that was causing issue we removed all of the related mobs.  We are happy to report no crashes since this change.  Rock dungeon is closed for the moment and you can look forward to new content with a new quest inside it once it is opened up again.

Due to time being consumed with crashes there are only a few things done to improve game play..  On a happy note, back to breeding and high end mobs!!!

Treasure Chests: Updated the drop chances of the new items.
Treasure Maps: Updated the drop chances and added Greater Magic Cloth Deeds to the level 6 maps
CrashGuard:  The crashes seem to have been resolved completely now.  CrashGuard is turned back on.
Velocity Deeds Updated (Working)
Resurrection Timer set to 45 seconds (was 30 seconds):  This is not extra time to talk, this time is used to gear back up or leave.  With a 45 second time limit there is basically no such thing as res killing because you have 45 seconds.

Nice work! Glad to see the velocity deeds are up and running. I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for the rock dungeon.
Really cool banner!  We have fun plans in the works for the area!

I second that notion. Bio-engineering needs its own area. Actually this is starting to fall together. Check this out.

Imagine a dungeon similar to the abandoned city in the Lovecraft book "At the Mountains of Madness".

This would explain the insanity of the npc engineers. It could be played up that after finding this ruined city the inhabitants of Britannia gained all the neccessary tools with which to play God. With this newly gained power they lost their sanity.

You should definitely use the maddening horror body type for a creature in there as well.

I always saw that huge building in the north central area of Ilshenar as a bio-engineering "dungeon". Might update it but not until the Demented Tinker dungeon is completed.... hopefully soon!

Actually Expo you're right! I have killed everything in there once but i need to go back and thoroughly map out the spawners and get a list of drops from there. Thanks for the reminder!

If that's happening it's good you mentioned it. What exactly crashes you when you go there?

Glad to be of service. =) There are other spots too but that's "the" spot I encountered as a player.

There are a few more but not that many, 5-6 bio engineer spawns, 3 abobination spawns, Slasher of Veils and the castle north of compassion. For a possibility of around 8k orgs to collect and most of these are on a timer of 6 hours. Once you have hit all the spawns and then stay at the ilsh castle for a loooong time you can end up with about 15k orgs.
But lets face it, 15k orgs wont take you far when making bios and it sure isn't enough to keep all the bio crafters busy crafting and collecting. I have been farming daily for them and buying everything i can find and its still not enough.
So a bio dongeon would nicely fill the need of the shard.

soon as I get into the third upper floor I crash.  Not sure what exactly as I have quit going due to frustrations haha.

Client crashes for me as well on that floor. But, its odd, because it does not always do it. One day i played in there for hours no crashing. Another, i crashed several times.

Do you play with 2 accounts logged in? I have found that very often when playing 2 accounts, there are some no no zones where one of the clients will crash if 2 are logged in. One logged in no issues.

Only sure bet crasher was Llloth in rock, once she was in phase 2 spider form and got to half health, insta crash my client every time. Since they closed rock I guess they were aware of the issues.

Not only was that an issue but several other issues from that same script package were discovered.  We decided rather then spend hours cleaning it up, spend the same hours offering new connect along the several quest themes we already have in place.
