Thanks to the continued support the UO Evolution community we have procured some fantastic new upgrades for the server and UO Evolution network. I will be conducting the upgrades over night as to ensure that peak hours gameplay are not intruded upon.


Here are the new specifications:

Intel Xeon E3-1270v3 Quad core processor (hyperthreading + turbo->4.2ghz)
14 GB DDR3-1600 ECC
180 GB SSD and 2000 GB, 7200 RPM SATA hard drive


Here on UO Evolution we pride ourselves on being able to deliver a lag free and extremely stable environment for all of our users. As we grow we will continue to upgrade (evolve) as to ensure your gameplay is not interrupted by lag or unnecessary downtime.

AWSOME! very nice thats why i love this shard just keeps geting better and better content wise and player base /// and software & hardward wise. and i can say the whole last year was great not much down time and crashe's if so we are usely back within 10-20 mins. tops EVO ROCKS!.. Keep Up The Great Work Evolution Staffing Team and Dante / Zoe. thank you all for giveing us a truely amazeing Ultma Shard to play. your pal KG.

great i have dial up conection and tryed alot of shards over the years and yes sadly cause of my connection they all lag but this one has laggedthe less yet and has the most custom content :P so congrats guys ima stay here for a long while ;)

Update:

Just a quick update, the upgrade is progressing smoothly. I'm almost finished the needed configurations - Should be back up within 15 minutes.

Very nice, now if I can just get my part to work without lagging so much.  Of course, I think this has to do with all the new construction going on across the street. Hats off to ya'll.

I can't wait to be able to just jump on and play after my surgery is all done and over with. This is the best shard ever and I am grateful that I was brought here to this shard as my first shard ever. This is my first Ultima Online experience and I am proud to say that I think it has the best staff ever!!! (Of course not ever being at any other place  what do I know but I don't want to go anywhere else!!!!)
