Augment System:
- Special Attack: Mind Drain has been revamped to drain weapon maximum damage as mana multiplied by 1.2
(Example: Sword does 15 max damage, mana drained will be 18.)
- Special Attack: Stamina Drain has been revamped to drain weapon maximum damage multiplied by 1.3
(Example: Sword does 15 max damage, stamina drained will be 19.)
- Special Attack: Gift of Health has been revamped to grant weapon maximum damage as health multiplied by 2.
(Example: Sword does 15 max damage, health regained will be 30.)
- Special Defense: Spike Shield has been revamped to return only 50% of damage given by an attacker and absorb the other 50%.
(Example: You are hit for 50 damage and spike shield proc's. You would take no damage and your shield would return 25 damage to the attacker and absorb the other 25.)
Changes to Parry:
- Parry is now capped at 65% if your bushido is lower than 130. Players parry cap will increase based on their skill in bushido.
130 bushido = 5% increase in parry chance. If capped at: 65% your parry would then equal: 70%
145 bushido = 10% increase in parry chance. If capped at: 65% your parry would then equal: 75%
If you are using a ranged weapon and a shield your parry is now capped at: 50%
260 parry skill will be required to reach the 65% parry cap chance.
- The way bushido is handled has been reworked, Parry and Bushido no longer have any negative effects on each other, instead they can work hand in hand. as listed above, higher bushido gives increased parry chance. Bushido will still have the bonus parry effect on players who choose to use bows/shields or 1 handed weapons with a shield. (this includes 2 handed weapons that have been made 1 handed)
- Players who use a two handed weapon will receive a flat 10% DI increase that will be calculated AFTER the DI cap. (With a two handed weapon instead of a 300% DI cap you will have a 310% DI cap)
- I have taken the liberty of creating a poll on this subject (Parry Changes) *** If you have any questions you should be able to find most of the answers to them here: http://uoevolution.com/forum/index.php?topic=5896.0
- If you find yourself over the cap and would like your augments refunded please page for assistance.
Monsters:
- Numerous high end monsters have received a nerf. These changes go hand in hand with the modifications made to parry to allow these monsters to be more managable even with reduced parry chance.
- Modified the Iron Beetle so that it can mine ore for players. He will require a Iron Beetle Shovel placed in his pack to mine ore - You can purchase this shovel off of the token stone. You can give your iron beetle the following commands: "mine" or "take break" Your iron beetle can only mine in caves or while he is standing on minable tiles. The same unattended macro rules apply to those of you who choose to use this new beetle.
- The Scalis Enforcer no longer has fire breath as his ranged attack. He still has the ability to summon water elementals and eels however.
- Added plague and pestilence rats, these rats have low health but when they hit you they will sap your mana and stamina dealing low damage.
Happy Friday the 13th!
