Hey guys, this is publish #10.. Its a big deal to me that I have been working with the evolution team for 10 full publishes now and I want to say thank you to the community for your continued support. Yesterday after the hunger games I heard some interesting insights into how some players think this shard runs.  I feel that with all of your helpful suggestions, bug reports and input we have truely grown UO Evolution in one of the best shards on the planet. I firmly believe that we will continue to grow together as a community if we stay on the path we have set.


Thank you to everyone for your help and support. I want to list off some people that day-to-day spend their time helping the community and going the extra mile to make UO Evolution what it is today.


Dante - Thank you for doing what you do, every day, no complaints, no whining.. Always a great attitude.

Fishing System
- The special/fabled fishing net now has a chance to summon "Osiredon" the Scalis Enforcer or a Leviathan.
- Upon being killed Osiredon will have a chance to drop special artifacts into your backpack.
- Osiredon is a formidable creature from the depths who has a chance to drop multiple (15+) OSI based artifacts that have been tweaked to Evolution standards.

- Corgul's Hand Book on The Undead (Necromancy)
- Corgul's Hand Book on Magery (Magery)
- Enchanted Coral Bracelet
- Ring Of The Soulbinder
- Corgul's Enchanted Sash
- Helm of Vengeance
- Leviathan Hide Bracers
- Smiling Moon Blade
- Illustrious Wand of Thundering Glory
- Rune Engraved Peg Leg
- Field Of Blades (Deco)
- Culling Blade
(and some "secret" ones)


Pet System
- The pet restore system Salve now grants +5 (up from +3) str, dex and int permanently to pets. This will provide players a way to sufficiently restore the stats of pets who have lost them in battle.
- Stamina, Mana and Hitpoints will now also restore by +10. (up from +5)
- The Undead Worg has been added to our pet library.
- The Undead Worg is a very powerful undead pet. They Have an Energy Aura attack with area damage. It has a unique skeletal body graphic that gives it a unique look.
- The undead worg also has a chance to do armor penetrating attacks that do 150% regular damage on hit.




Token System
- The token ledger has been modified to allow for a maximum withdrawal of 60,000 tokens (up from 10,000) Hopefully this will allow everyone to exchange tokens as needed at a much faster rate.


Misc
- Updated security header for our automated donation system (paypal)
- Upgraded our server side anti-cheat scripts for better auto detection and mitigation. (Includes but not limited to; cheat engine, injection, O-port, ping throttler)
- Recently upgraded out Teamspeak server (as most of you know) new info can be found here: http://uoevolution.com/forum/index.php?topic=5886.0
- Completed multiple Microsoft OS updates
- Upgraded our 2gbps port to a 5gbps port (throttled each user @ 6mbps up/down -> up from 3mbps) Should notice a slight increase in client performance.
- Tons of in-game house cleaning was done over the last 2 weeks (deleted over 1 million unused unaccessible game items)

Glad to see the pet restore system getting increased.  I have a Werewolf I need to repair.


I know Scalis was hard on the production servers.  I cannot wait to tie into him here on Evolution!

Looks like it's time to dust off the ol' boat, and grab some nets!  I assume the chances to spawn the nasties are higher with the Fabled Fishing Net?  Great addition, and look forward to getting killed on my boat!
