I was told the currency is gold, tokens, and evolution dollars, is this correct?

Yes that is correct.  Dante will make it clear as to what currency the bids are in.  It typically starts off as all bids are for gold (podium will be gold colored).  After that the podium will be turned blue and all bids are in tokens.  Finally the podium is turned white and the bids are all in ED.

The times listed are by time zone.  Pacific standard time will be noon, Central standard time will be 2PM, Eastern standard time will be 3PM.  If I am not mistaken CST is -5 GMT so I think you would be looking at 7PM GMT.
