We have added the Peerless Quest back in game and updated all of the items to collect.  The new peerless display room has been added onto the moongate and there is updated info on the wiki.  The prize for completing the quest will be a choice of an Evolution Cloak or an Evolution Ring!
 
We will be giving out a 500 Evolution Dollar prize to the first player to complete the quest from now through September 31st!

Sadly, the 500ED will go to someone that is already strong and thus, someone that has less needs of it.

Just wanted to say, I don't like when there is no equity at all. When money brings money... this is how our world goes on and how it will fall too.

On the other hand, I know that there is a need to keep veterans busy, but still...

Do not take what I say badly, I know you are doing things in the best way you can and it is impossible to content everybody. I just wanted to show you what I saw in this announcement : "Forget about the special prize, events are not for you".
Well I'm really sad you have such a dim view of our effort to give great prizes and entertain players on a free shard...
 
I am always confused when players take the time to be negative about our hard work, instead of giving us a compliment for the time and effort we put in to this shard...
 
This is not a noob quest, it is a long term quest that takes a month to complete and is meant to be for veterans.  At some point you will be strong enough to complete this quest and appreciate that we continue to create new content each week and give back to the players
 
FYI if you look at the dev logs I did add about 10 new player quests before I added a Veteran Quest...

Do not take me wrongly, I really appreciate this server and your hard work (And I already said it severall times).

It is just... personal?... I can hardly understand anything that is made to make strong ones stronger or worst, make the strongest even stronger.

I'd think that special prize should not strengthen those on top (or give them something that will allow them this while other will continue to struggle to keep up... well, not even keep up).

Don't worry about me, I'm not the kind to leave or revolt for this (nor even for the breeding changes if I had been affected) but I think that it is good that I let you know how I feel when I read this.

I'm sure that having feedback on your work is much more constructive than what my message looks like, isn't it why you have a forum? ^^

The peerless quest was around long before the revert and it gives the vets of the shard something to do, it also gives a prize that is normally only available through donations.  Win Win.  Long standing players get something to do and another way to get donation only items.  If you are not strong enough yet, do not focus on this quest.. focus on getting strong enough. 

Now starting in September I do plan on starting a new quest line, there will be 3 quests (Easy, Medium and Hard) and will only last for 1 month.  So if you are not a vet yet you will have something to do  

I know for a fact Dante and Zoe put in several very long days getting the peerless quest back together...

Freaking sweet!  I've never completed the Peerless Quests, but have played with some of the Peerless foes before the wipe (they make terrible dance partners).  Thank you for positing the info in the link, and the *WARNING THESE GUYS WILL EAT YOUR FREAKING ARMOR, SO BE EXTRA FREAKING CAREFUL* (I hope people see this).  The reward is pretty damn high in this race, and look forward to see who finishes it first.  Well played Evo, well played.
