This event is your chance to roleplay with a live GM...this is a very fun event and if you can roleplay and convince the Hermit to help you, he may give you a quest and a nice reward...beware, don't get greedy with your requests!

Something is happening, after a long time Tiger, the old hermit, has come down from his mountain to walk around the world. People claims to have been helped by him, some asked for an item needed to finish a quest, some skill bonus thing, weird seeds, keys with storage powers, many other things. Some others said that they rushed him and he vanished. He has been spotted in some different places, having a drink in a bar, in a meeting with some gargoyle friends, fishing in a sand island, he showed pity with those who showed respect and good manners, as people said each task asked by him was different, since each stuff people asked for was different too, so you never know where he will be, what he will ask you to do/get in exchange for your wish. 

This is a roleplay event, not respecting that will make the Hermit vanish and losing the chance to ask for something. The system is easy, a msg will be shown in public chat when the hermit is around, giving one single hint, if you reach him you have to be kind, he doesn't know you, he's not your friend, he's an old man living his life, but, he can make some wishes true

Introduce yourself, be gentle and depending on what you need he will tell you what he needs in exchange, each time will be different and can be literally ANYTHING achievable in Ultima Online and the shard. He can also reject your case, when you talk to him he will ask for few days to think about it and then you will get your answer via in-game message. Don't forget, it's a roleplay event so you have to explain why you need that item, give him a background, a reason to get his sympathy and help

What is Roleplaying?

Roleplaying is the changing of one's behavior to assume a role, like an actor in a play or a character in a book. While roleplaying may seem a little strange for those who have never experienced it before, the reality is that it is just another way for players to enjoy the shard!

Roleplaying games, such as Dungeons and Dragons, were originally published as books, which explained the rules, environment and characters. One person was selected to be the GM (Game master/storyteller) who would verbally lead you through quest storylines.
