It's odd but it appears I have a fondess for watching the players on Evo go BOOM! I even made a place called The Boom Room! But I'm here to talk about Bomberman! This is a fun game that is VERY similar to the console game "Bomberman" but with an awesome twist of UO thrown into the mix.

Up to 8 players navigate an obstacle course of customizable appearance and size. Use your bombs to blow up walls, collect upgrades to increase bomb count, blast size, speed, detonators, "big badda boom" blasts. Blow up other players while trying to dodge their bombs.

BOMBERMAN JUNE '14 Victor List!

I will be keeping track of the "official" wins, meaning matches that I personally oversee and adding names accordingly. I will do my best to hold a match DAILY so be prepared for the announcement in-game. Times of official matches will typically be after 9 PM EST. At the end of the month, the Bomberman Champion will be named and will receive some nice prizes, including a one of kind trophy that will be on display at their home!

ash much as this is a great idea, i personaly have a problem with this,

first thx for adding my may win in but with it now being at 9pm est this is 3am gmt for me,

is there not a chance for this to happen 4pm est at least?? or make it a weekly sat night or summin?

just suggestion as i know it not possible to change for 1 player as i think im the only gmt player on this sever

You are not the only gmt player on the server But unfortunately I believe all the GMs are PST (US) so therefore events fall on there times.

I managed to get to a few events hopefully I can get to a bomber man soon as when the GF has her niece and nephews round that's all they want to play on the Xbox. It gets boring I wanna try this!

Actually I'm EST time. I try to hold events at all manner of hours so I can include as many people as possible. Unfortunately due to real life I can never specify an EXACT TIME for ANYTHING because well.... it's real life. *grins* Things happen. But I will do my best to switch up the times when I can. Don't worry, there will be many other events that can be attended too =)

Stats have been updated as of 6/17/14 with a FOUR WAY TIE so far so it's still anyone's trophy!

Updated with the actual trophy! It's better in-game (animated) but it's worth the amazing battles that have taken place nightly for it. No one else will have that at their home but it's seriously a one-of-a-kind trophy and amazing prize for your home!

The finals for the Bomberman Championship of June 2014 happened tonight and it was a most epic series of matches! In a best 3 out of 5, Calico and Soaryn battled it out for the trophy and a 1 million gold check!


Both participants dropped bombs better than anything you'll hear on commercial radio but in the end only one could be crowned the official Bomberman Champion of June 2014.... and that was Soaryn!


Congratulations to both her and her opponent... these matches will go down in Evo history.

After doing some Bomberman tonight, I found everyone had quite a blast (pun completely intended) and will be resurrecting this type of event again in the near future!
