Black Belt Dungeon Release


FAQ:


Q: How do I get inside?
A: Visit the Tokuno anomalous rock formation located in the desert NORTH of Zento in Tokuno.

Q: Do I need a black belt to enter?
A: YES.

Q: Why did my bank crystal and druid spell book disappear when I entered the black belt dungeon?
A: Those items are restricted from being used in the Black Belt Dungeon and therefore have been placed inside of your bank in a golden backpack.

Q: Can I do the Black Belt Dungeon alone?
A: It's possible, but the dungeon is recommended for 3-5 party members.


Developer Notes:

This dungeon has been a very serious project for quite some time. We have worked very hard to produce some unique game mechanics that can only be seen here on UO Evolution. We hope you enjoy the dungeon as much as we have enjoyed creating it.

Could we get some information on the potential items dropped, maybe a list?

All I can say is that it has the best loot tables on the shard. Its roughly a 50/50 chance that it will drop nothing. But 9 times out of 10 when it does drop something its gonna be good ;)

It's a crazy and fun dojo. There are some really nasty mobs in there. It's a welcome challenge, thanks Kyn and Keldon and anyone else who worked on it

This dungeon and its contents are like none other.  We scripted a very tough challenge for here.  I am glad you are enjoying the dungeon.

Do the first two Bosses on your way to the Emperor have a chance of dropping loot? Or is the only monster with a loot table the Emperor?
Also do the mini bosses that the Emperor summons while fighting drop loot?

First two bosses have a reduce chance of dropping loot, but they do have a pretty solid loot table. The summoned champions from the emperor do not drop loot.

Another question about the summoned champions, if someone kills the boss and just leaves them there will they just stay there forever or will they eventually despawn.

They will eventually despawn, but it will be a long wait.

Hmm, does the whole party entering the dungeon need a black belt to enter?

Also, are there plans for more MoB's to be added, some where in the realms, which will grant the belts need to gain the Black Belt?

I for one like a challenge, but can only play so often, and don't like waiting out campers when I do have the time.

Yes you must have a blackbelt to enter.  We will be adding more content in Tokuno shortly and will make the lower belts more available
