An Exposition Approaches... (Events and Dungeon Info)
A few days ago some explorers were hunting in the furthest reaches of Ilshenar when they heard several loud crashes from the mountainside. As they approached, boulders gave way and a gaping hole appeared, large enough to fit several packhorses but far too deep to jump in.
As they worked up the nerve to peer down, several skeletal figures rose from the ground and quickly overtook several of the explorers....
Here's some information about the Exposition you might/probably should/won't attend on Saturday night... the tentative time for this is at 10pm EST but the real world is always... around?
Lore:
Months ago there was seismic activity reported in the northeastern region of Ilshenar. This caused massive changes in the landscape... including the opening of a previously unknown cavern. There have been many adventurers that have attempted to uncover its secrets, but none have been able to find a safe way in.
There will be an Exposition into the Camuy Caves, as the locals have come to call them, this Saturday Night at around 10pm EST. I, GM Expo, will be accessing the situation and decide whether it is fit to explore this area depending on the participants.
Be prepared for battle, with Auto-Insurance if necessary, though there are Ankhs and Resurrection stones nearby, and nothing will INSTA-KILL you, although Liches are notorious for looting a fresh kill...
Spoilers:
- Plenty of Undead creatures.
- Camuy dwellers that are related to Solens.
- Legend says the Camuy Cave has a hidden area with treasures found nowhere else.
- Scrolls of Exposition should be collected and banked for future use.
- This dungeon will be open to everyone, tonight is just the "grand opening"

And so tonight many brave souls embarked on an Exposition into the Camuy Caves. After the boulders blocking the entrance were cleared and a rope ladder lowered, the Evolites began to take no mercy on the dwellers below.
Overgrown weeds and rocks covered the inside of the cave, making it difficult to maneuver with so many people and monsters around. Eventually a path was discovered that led to a secret nesting place for the Camuy and a Bizarre Mushroom was spot. Someone managed to steal it and I decided to test it within the waters of the fall.
This proved to purge an evil spirit from the depths known as Riptidal. It surged with great force but the overwhelming amount of Evolites quickly drowned him back to whence he came.
I hope everyone had a good time and there are still more scenarios that will further explore the Camuy Caves!
You are free to explore them as they are open to all. Just visit the Custom Moongates -> Event Hall and run a little north east to reach the opening. There are more stealable items, Scrolls of Exposition and other goods to be gotten in there.
