Hey guys,


After joining Evolution a few weeks ago, I find it only normal that I make my first post in this thread.  Indeed, out of many little pleasures i have found here, the staff's involvement and love for UOEvolution and it's community is the aspect of my experience I have found the most predominant.


A few things that i find amazing, way over any of my expections:


- When paging, I am confident to be answered by staffers that love the game and who have the motivation to help me enjoy my experience here as much as they enjoy theirs.


- In their public interaction, I feel that staffers have the interest of the community at heart.  As opposed to other shards i have played on, I have not witness agressive and abusive interventions from the odd power hungry staffer.  Sure sometimes, it is necessary for them to make players follow their instruction, but it is always done in a way that I feel respectfull and with the objective of making the shard a better place.


- As far as daily events, wtf???  Kali, Joker and Kyn, do you take pills for that little hyperactivity of yours?   I would already be blown away if there was one event daily, but truely, i have never seen a day with less than 3 since I play here.


- And Kyn, what are you trying to acheive?  You do realize that you could possibly be in the Guiness world Record Book, right?  I mean, on this shard already full of custom content, you have managed to issue 11 new publishes in 5 months!!!  I don't know that production shards have more than 1 publish every two months, and we get this level of content on a free shard?  Oh well, as long as I am not the one paying the pills once you get a burnout  !!!!


That's about it.  As mentionned earlier, I found it important to make my firt post ever in this positive thread.  You will probably have noticed that I am also very positive in game.  Nevertheless, I want to warn you guys that typically, on a forum, I come to either ask question or to criticize some aspects of my experience.  So yah, I hope you don't hold it against me for the posts where I will be less positive.


Thanks for doing what you do, UOEvolution staffers!

For those who have not yet met PolarBear, he is a stand up Player, and all around good guy.  I had the misfortune (or fortune) of meeting him in one of the Archeology Tombs.  To my dismay, I was teleported into the Tomb that he was in the process of looting.  Seeing that I had worked hard digging up the artifacts to get there, PolarBear shared with me the bounty of his loot, and did'nt want me to walk out of the dungeon empty handed.


Thanks PolarBear, it's players like you that make this shard great, in addition to the Staff.
