i strongly suggest looking into the token system if its not already happening. first off token partys should come to an end. secondly token distribution should be balanced out throughout the game. i spent 3 hours farming at twisted wield including killing dreadhorn. i walked away with 100k tokens approx. this can be obtained in a matter of 10-20 minutes at a champ spawn or 10-20 minutes bank sitting in a token party.

please consider either blocked or reduced token collection within a champ spawn area, creating viable token collection in other areas of the game or both.
Yes this was adjusted in todays updates

In the update today was the first round of token changes, token party changes are on deck as well.  While I do not plan on removing them, I do have intent on seeing if we can put them back into perspective.

Meta and a few others have talked about his post since it was placed here. He went into a bit more detail to what he was referring to with us in TeamSpeak. I do agree with some of what he says and disagree with some, so I decided to post here.

This I disagree with totally. A lot of us get in token parties when we are out hunting, singling out a certain creature that require a group or of course, Champing.

I know Twisted Wield takes some time to collect the desired items and Dreadhorn is not as easy as an imp to slay, however, Twisted Wield is a safe location. You do not have to worry about the PvP/PK'rs coming in with their spells or swords/bows attacking/killing you as well as stealing your champion. In this case I think safety hunting vs omg it's freaking Pumpkin!....the high tokens are fair in a danger area.

This one I do agree with you Meta, we have talked about this a couple times. When I am head of a token party I drop those who are not contributing to token collection. All know if you are afk or bank sitting or building your house or even camping a spawn for hours on end, I will kick you from the party to let someone else in that will be playing and gathering tokens. Sometimes I am busy in game and forget to do my checks on who are actually there and who are not but I do try to remember to do so often.

It is going to be a hard one to change since you have multiple people who are hunting the same mob and you can't award just one person the tokens for the kill. Everyone should be rewarded for the hunt.

Maybe can be changed, if you are in same region you gain tokens, else not..

This one should be an easy fix.

I personally have no problem seeing people rewarded with tokens if they contributed damage, or perhaps healing, when out adventuring as a group/party.

If two strangers attack the same thing, the player who smacked it the most [I think] gets the looting rights, but both players get tokens and fame/karma.

This same principle should apply to so called token parties.

The fact that someone has/can/will one shot killed something, shouldn't provide the party with more then one share of tokens.

  Example:

Single Orc = 10 tokens.     [You are in a 5 person party]

John the party leader kills the Orc by himself with a Flame Strike spell; happens all the time.

Only John should get the tokens, since no one else contributed in the fight.  If you think other wise, then you are saying, to me, that adding more members to the hunting party, makes that single Orc more valuable.

[From 10 to 50 tokens; 10 for each member of the party]

This makes no sense to me, and is probably why Kane has plans to change this.

I am with Meta and Kane on this one... Token parties should be reworked, though not stopped all-together.

Those who contribute should be rewarded, the rest will just have a story to tell about John the party leader.

i would disagree with this,

if i am to form a champion party and everyone stood at same spot to make sure they got tokens it would annoy me,

as the point of a champion party is people sit in differnt parts of the champs to kill faster to get the boss out,  so sharing tokens among all should be fair

but if john kills orc that gives 10 tokens then all 5 members should get 2 tokens would be how i would do it

I have been commented by a couple players that we're not happy with me for posting my opinion on token system and they believed that I am the cause of the change. I was able to clear this up with the ones that approached me. However just want to be clear that I do not have control over changes that the staff implement. I am no puppet master and this was their decision and was already in consideration before I expressed my opinion about it. I encourage any and all players to continue to use the forums to express opinions and/or disagree with others opinions. Have a good day evo :D

Also just re read my original post and want to point out that my suggestion is very loosely related to what was actually changed.

I'll save any personal opinions on this type of censorship. Just wanted to second Meta's point about open discussion on the forum. Whether it directly accomplishes anything or not, it is the way to go about things -- in both bringing issues to light and garnering support from the masses.

In my opinion not enough people use the forums to voice there opinions or concerns.
People are quick to have a go at us who discuss and suggest things on forums, yet have not expressed their opinions or thoughts themselves.

I guess you could loosely base this situation on the standard political comment here in the UK.
If you don't vote you don't have a say.

If players are that concerned about changes and have ideas of their own then they should come post on the forums and express them. No point having a moan in game after when you had your chance to have you say.

Meta has 7 million ideas, a week 8) , this one actually got used; so what.

Besides, if it makes since why not implement it.

Often times, people are against change because it is just that... changing the way they have been doing things.

Unfortunately, there is no have it your way button on EVO, only Dante has that power... and he ain't selling it for ED's.

Meta, all I have to say is: "Haters got to HATE!" What else do they have left to do? Keep saying what you feel you have to say; I always read your posts.
