Agreed.  It's just pointless having all those player entering/leaving messages.  They serve no purpose in the game.

I use that spam to know when the pop is building to start selling mey wares on[tr.


I use that spam to know, uh oh, servers crashing, I have 3 seconds to recall to safety.

lol Fortunately for me, the words are very hard to see so never bothered by it. 

You can go into [chat and maybe make them less visible to you.  There are sooo many options in [chat to change the colors on just about any kind of message, and, hopefully, the ones that bug you.
