This just came to me.


Have you ever been fishing all day, sailing out to the corners of the globe to retrieve untold wealth from submerged shipwrecks? And then you realize that you're a 10-minute voyage from the nearest island?


Wouldn't it be nice to have an item that dry-docks your ship into your bag from anywhere in the world?


I'm thinking it would work something like the pet summoning ball.  You link a ship to the ball and then you can "summon" it to your backpack at will.  It could be craftable with high-level cartography/tinkering
