Ok so if I understand what you are saying... Is you want to be able to walk into someones public house and go thru their locked down items and be able to add whatever you can see to your loot bag?

UMMM NO!

Sometimes doing that work for yourself is soo much more rewarding!

Stop look at the loot on the body and then claim it!

You could just go to the museum?
Other items I loot are all gems, easiest way is to kill a few elementals in shame and loot them and add the gems you loot.

For other items not at museum you could ask in chat, someone should be willing to lock their item down for you to target and add to loot bag, not sure if it works from a trade window or paperdoll.

Yes items can be in trade channel; thus can be added.

I don't see a problem with adding stuff that's locked down in a public house... all though players might not even know they have the items if they never look in there bags.

Free-shards are about the individual fun as much as the community fun, what works for some might not work for others. If this is even something the staff would consider, I give it a +1.
