Was wondering what everyone thought about adding a little more info to murder counts. Like if the player has the option, and they decide not to, would it be possible to tell the player in question "Player did not report you for murder", and in addition if the player does count you, "Player reported you for murder". This way its a little easier to see if a player is sitting on murder counts and isn't just waiting to give them to you at a later time. It also cuts out the "i didn't murder count you" mentality. I'm not big on murders but I think something like this would help clear some confusion up.

Nice suggestion, that would be convenient and helpful. There currently is a notification the moment you are counted for murder but if they choose not to count you there is not a system message. Ether way I think if the "counter" wanted to save them up they could anyways. Maybe insert a timer of 30seconds or so for the player killed to either count or not count. If they dont choose an option within the 30 seconds window after death then the window will become Void.

Voiding is definitely a good idea, but I also feel some sort of recognition system would be helpful too.

I remember somewhere that the ability to report times out after 5 or 10 minutes. That may not be accurate here; I have not tested. I suppose that window would allow for someone AFK to return and report within a short time frame. How much later AFKers should be able to report is a debate in itself.

The confirmation of either "reported" or "did not report" is a nice idea for the sake of clarity.

I would support the ten minute timer, but it should be in game time.

This would be in case some one has a freak system failure, and is unable to log back in right away.

Let me add this to the subject of murder counts:

Bribing an NPC, once a month [say 1 million gold] to remove one murder count.

The bribe would increase each month X amount of gold [another million gold or more!] until a murder count was lost due to normal means, time. After which the bribe meter would reset.
