I have gone to a few invasion, they were interesting.

What I propose are hidden/secret invasions.

Put them in Dungeons. [Felluca dungeons can't be recalled into, last i checked :)-]

Put them in a forested area outside of Vesper.

Put them in boats attacking Skara Brea.

But please stop making 'Invasions' so darn obvious.

"Yew is under attack." Go to yew and save the day" [You hear the sound of 100 tamers unleashing there pets]

 ~3 minutes later...

"Everything is looking fine at the moment, travel safe."

The reason I stopped doing them is due to 1 or 2 people kill everything and the Champ pops......next thing you know everyone and their mother shows up and kills your Champ that YOU and perhaps a friend worked so hard to get. It was discouraging when I was a new player and to this day I have not done an Invasion due to that type of greed.

The global message that the champ has spawned has been discussed in past. Hopefully something can be worked out. Announcing only to the town region is one option, but with this, if you are outside the region looking for stray spawn, you would miss the message.

I have heard there are rules for this. Lets see some rule enforcement.
I know my next line of thought is not going to be well liked but here goes; if rules are to be enforced then all players involved need to know. Rules without a sense of justice are a laughing matter. There is a prison outside of Yew, players could be put in stocks and have fruit thrown at them, etc. This is not so that the one offended can laugh "HaHa I got you in trouble", but it would give a sense that the staff is here to protect the enjoyment of all players. Also, other players would see that there is a punishment for breaking the rules. If word were to get out about these type of actions, then it has the potential of drawing in the player base that a good shard needs. It could even be made into an event so it is kept within the game sphere and no need for flaming on the boards or in TS.
This also means that the wiki should be updated about the shard rules. A quick scan does not find anything about town invasions.
I know you guys have a lot on your plate and everyone has been working, thank you.

Rules are clearly posted on the wiki here

My post was a suggestion towards variety.

I do understand and appreciate the idea behind Invasions.

However, I feel they need to be reworked as well; along with everything else Kane is making fun and enjoyable. Champion spawns are one thing, and serve a vast purpose; but using the champion spawn as an invasion premise has shown it's ups and downs. Unfortunately, they are one sided.

Invasions should serve there own purpose. Whatever rewards are reasonable should drop off of the creatures we kill, and at random. Having ONE creature at the end, determine who gets the reward is rather lame. At a party, everyone gets a chance to hit the pinata, but when it breaks open, the candy is shared... not given to he/she who broke it open.

I guess in the end, I am really asking for every Large aspect of this community to be considered when creating or changing things in the EVO world.

   Example:

    Give more pets to Tamers

New Armor and Swords to Dexxers

More spells and Magic Gear to Mages

More ways to get Bods and new decorations to the Crafties

And as always more and more ways to have fun in UO.

But never should these things come to one group at a time.

Other wise, and I say this humbly, you're just catering.
