*MOVED*

Ahoy - the original/official version f the game had an item called a
Halloween Costume (http://www.uoguide.com/Costume). I know it is a little late for this year, but I think this could be fun as part of the October events next year. Perhaps there would be a way to introduce different ones throughout the year?
It might also be a cool addition as an item property that could be added to any item as a donation similar to the Quest & Event Items (http://www.uoguide.com/Costume#Quest_.26_Event_Items). I was a fan of the Bloody Sash myself.

This would be great for role play as well as a way to mix up the look of the standard kit most wear. I would like to see it function similar to the Polymorph spell in that it changes your appearance, but no penalties or bonuses (unlike ninja forms). This would be purely cosmetic and lasts until the item with the property is removed/deactivated.

I thought I would take the opportunity to bump this up to the top. I would still love to see something like this made available.

We did create a new quest to earn a Halloween costume this year!

"Costume Quest"

It's NOT too late to get your costume! See Sir Dis Guise, Costume Seller South East Britain...find the costume shop!

I apologize, I was not clear in my suggestion/request. I have seen and used the Halloween Costumes and they are great, but they are just that a costume. I cannot go out and hunt with one on because the costume takes the primary weapon slot, although I could cast spells I suppose.

Again - love the costumes, just looking for a way to get my sword (insert weapon of choice here) hand back!
