The minimal/maximum damage (at these skill levels total) = 81-100 damage divided by all targets within a three tile radius. {this number probably doesn't account for fire resistance, but it's the number I have to work with} [Single target's be ware!]
All that is pretty awesome on it's own, however, what bothers me the most is the fact that I need to have sulfurous ash in my main backpack. Why does this bother me?
When I cast magic spells it pulls the reagents out from my reagent storage keys, that's why.
All I am asking for is reagent usage equality for fire horn mechanics.
I do have a plan B but I will share that later on, if the powers that be can not change the fire horn mechanics appropriately.
Lastly, I think it is long since past time for little fire horn to have a brother or a sister. What I mean is, pick another resistance type and make a new horn type that deals that kind of damage. OSI has them... show the Bard's here some love. Tamers don't need everything...
Hope that's not to much to ask for. Stay tuned for more Bard wish list Posts.
It would be nice to see more of a variety of play-styles. There are other specials that require the Reagents to be in your top pack as well, Spike Shield for instance. I always have to remember to [keyguard my pig iron to make sure it doesn't get sucked into my reagent key.
ya firehorns are very cool. supposed to be based on bard skills on OSI but not sure about here. Probably in pvm, but i've tried in pvp and not much damage, but i guess every little bit helps. I would like to see them used more often. And it just looks awesome when you use one in a crowd of mobs lol. that and thunderstorm have amazing graphics in crowds. Both my characters carry one so im carrying the torch anyways ;] even if just for fun.
