I agree with Genesis and Minos. And I believe Typhor is on the right path, but some of his/her ideas are over powering in my opinion.
I would remind every reader of the following:
Evolve[definition] to develop gradually.
Point 1) When the shards fundamental base was changed, everything that gave it balance was potentially broken; but not out of evil intention.
Point 2) In oder to truly continue the shards evolution, gradual changes must occur, and patience, by all, must be brought to bare.
Point 3) We must all remember that the shard was once something that Dante does not want again, this time around.
This last point could mean a lot of things. Dante's new direction is best known only to him and his staff. However, those of us who are paying attention to the updates can see his new trend right before us.
Point 4) Without limitations, without risk versus reward, and without a stable economy there will only be chaos; and Dante realized this before he got his second chance to make things right.
To a lesser degree, I fully understand that getting 128 different colored loom add-on deeds; 53 different pairs of hue room colored sandles; 12 low charge gargoyle pickaxes, and whatever else is rewarded on a repetitive cycle can be tedious. Some changes should be made in regards to the above mentioned rewards. At a certain difficulty of bod, these items should be off the list, and replaced by something else. If that is not possible then those rewards should be at a 1% chance of being given as a reward.
However, that being said, in real life, or in everything you have done in life --which includes playing video games-- when was it fair? When was the last time you got everything you wanted on the first time around; or beat a tough game on the first play though on the first day? Never.
Point 5) Finally, can we stop complaining about change, --and understand that this point is directed at everyone and no one at the same time-- please.
