From my perspective, what bows "have to make them OP" is not so much to do with balance, but more to do with Parry Damage Kits and Parry Chance Kits.
Granted, the fix to Mortal Strike was a step in the right direction, but let's face it, melee is giving us it's death throws. I've lost my battle against the Parry Damage Kits, and how they have slid the balance of PvP completely off the table, but if that Parry Damage Kit isn't going away, at the least make it available to melee weapons.
You know what would be even better? If the Parry Damage Kits were available in game, to non-donating players too.
I see your point on Balance Des Sanct, but I don't see adding the ability to run a EUO script for pot chugging easier with a sword in hand to tip the scales in the favor of melee players...or even come close (but yeah, a balanced Exceptionally Crafted Club WOULD be nice).
