Ultima has always has a special place in my heart, I ran into this video and decided to show everyone how far the game has progressed!  I played Ultima III on the commodore 64 back in 1983...hard to believe that was 31 years ago, lol. 
As a side note, we had to save data on a cassette tape and when you entered or exited a dungeon/castle you had to manually search for the proper dungeon with a tape counter, mark the numbers and then load the tape which took about five minutes.  We also had graph paper and a pencil to map with:)

Oh man, that brought back a flood of memories! I played ultima  2 through 4 on an Apple 2e. I did not have a color monitor though:)

That is amazing!  I had no idea.  Ultima sure has come a long way.  :)  Glad we have Ultima online now - and Evolution.  :)
