I have been killing the same creatures for weeks, but in this past week, I havent gotten nearly the amount of Tmaps I was, something has changed.  I went from getting 40ish a week, down to 4 in a 2 days. FOUR! that's 2 maps a day, and I kill on average a minimum 510 mobs per day, and to only get 2 maps, seriously?

When opening paragon chests, there use to always be a tamp in them, now If I'm lucky there's one in every 20.  When I did a tmap, one would either spawn on a mob, or in the chest I just dug up, now I only saw one in the 20 I did.

Also, the loot from the chests has diminished in quality.  I use to get at least a minor magic clothing deed, and once in a while a + lvl deed.  I also would see more deco items from them, now, Im lucky to see any.

We are a growing player base, and with a growing community, is a higher demand for items. The economy needs the items to flow, not get choked up to a trickle.

Please reverse the nerf, this is devastating.

waves to Sage* All I do anymore is t-maps. I cannot comment on gathering them because I do other peoples t-maps for them.
As for the loot inside.. I do on average 100 or more t-maps per day, usually more but I will go with the numbers I have on 100 t-maps. I can't complain with the amount of cloth deeds I get for every 100 maps. I would like more as it is so rare to get a +10 skill needed or desired by players but I think it is set perfectly as is. Reasoning behind my opinion, what fun would it be if they were overly plentiful and everyone got the +10 skill cloth they wanted or needed. If you have everything, it tends to get boring. Not an abundance of them in maps but not so few that it would discourage me from continuing doing the maps.
As for level deeds, in my opinion, they need to be a rare drop. Everyone needs them for leveling weapons. In the beginning I was getting so many I was paging for staff to come combine them to +85's to reduce item count in my house. *was before we could combine them ourselves* Also, they were so plentiful they had little to no value, I will be happy to see them go back up in price due to them not dropping like crazy.
Deco, *begins to drool but calms herself to not go on a deco rant* I do not see much of a difference in the deco drop but I would love to see newer mobs and themes  added in as well as new deco items placed in the t-map chests. Also, I have seen me not get anything "good" for a couple days but then BAM "oh happy day" came. And that's when t-mapping pays off. When you find that pay off treasure!!
I am sorry that your not having as much fun doing the t-maps as you use to but remember, Kane listens to all of the players opinions and suggestions and adjusts to fit the better of the shard and our player base.

Gave original numbers to Kane upon completing over 1400 t-maps in 5 days.

I'm going to side with Sage here.  It's pretty obvious that the loot chance of cloth and weapon deeds had been adjusted in T-maps, and that is fine *grumbles*, but she is saying that the drop chance of Treasure Maps themselves is pretty much non existent, and I see it too.  The only method I can use for collecting treasure maps is farming Tyrants in Fel, but many players choose not to go to Fel (understandably).  The other day, I did 8 Ingenious maps in a row...had one Scenario, but from those 8 maps, I received only one magic cloth deed, not a single weapon lvl deed.  I know, RNG is RNG and I had a run of bad luck, but if you are going to drop the loot table of the treasure chests, please don't drop the loot chance of the treasure map itself.

I also agree that since our shard is growing (I see new names and faces everyday), it does seem counter productive to stifle the player's growth with the bottleneck.  I don't bother looking for Treasure Chests in Fel dungeons anymore, as they just don't spawn with regularity (and that's fine, but I bet ++ and WMD would love to see more new players roaming in Fel dungeons), and as far as Magic Cloth Deeds.  I have opened a total of 207 cloth deeds to date, my only +10 has been Tracking Boots.  Getting desirable clothing deeds IS hard...but the weapon level deeds hurt me more (Ragnar only dropping two scrolls).

I have been getting more T-Maps then ever.  I tossed over 60 Maps on the ground at the Brit Bank this morning.  My storage key has over 1400 maps, all expert or higher.  I think the balance is just about right. Cloth deeds and the other items should be scarce, the game is already fairly easy.  Skill gain is easy, Gold is extremely easy.  If there is an issue you should try to provide Kane with more information;  what creatures do you feel are dropping less maps?

I have not touched T-Maps,  I have not touched the loot table in there for a while.  So anything you are experiencing is simply bad luck.  I also will put in the shard update thread when I make changes, this way their is no guessing on the matter.

I did change the Magic Cloth and Weapon Level Deeds tables for T Maps a few weeks ago, we are talking like 3+ updates ago.

I also have not changed any code relating to the dropping of T Maps.

Hi Tiea & Gentlemen! *waves & hugs*

I read the post last night, but my ISP was misbehaving, so I kept getting dropped while responding.   >:(

Soo, anyways...b4 Kane posted, I was going to yield to the more experienced members of our community and just blame it on RNG...but since Kane posted, I WILL blame it on bad RNG! "Bad RNG, bad bad RNG, stop pooing in da corner!"  *swats*

I only get Tram maps & just do my own.  I dont buy, and Im not up to snuff to attempt farming in fel yet..some day tho....Ill go chill w Tiea n Norton, and learn the ropes!  :)

And Thunder, your always welcome to toss your maps at me!  60 tmaps to nubs, who dont appreciate them vs someone who use to LIVE for Tmaps!  One of the first things I did after getting a house, was mark the rune libraries Fel/Tram Tmap books!

Anyways, catch ya'll in game, have an awesome game!
