Fair warning, I don't know if this is a bug or not. I'm not 100% familiar with all the new game mechanics on this server, but I submitted a ticket and have spoken with Keldon a few times and he suggested I have a developer look into it. Basically my understanding is that if you're able to mark a weapon (ie, 100+ BS) and craft it as exceptional, it will be a level 1 weapon that you can then level up. The problem is I've made probably 50 or 60 and none of them are. Maybe it's just a small chance and I'm failing at RNG, I dunno.
Again, this may be something I'm missing, but according to the wiki: A GM Blacksmith must first create an exceptional base weapon with a maker's mark.
If there's some other requirements I'm not meeting, let me know. But as of now, every time I make an exceptional, marked weapon it's normal, not level-able. Thanks for your time.
When you last experienced this bug. TodayHow the bug can be reproduced. Yes, every time I craft a weapon that's exceptional and has the maker's markWhether or not players can gain mass resources from this bug. It's the opposite, I can't make levelable weaponsIs this exploitable for player profit or does it grant someone an unfair advantage. No
