Can't cast smite

Unless I'm doing something wrong... any time that I cast Smite, it says that target can not be seen.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug?  I'm targeting something that I have a clear eyeline to, and sometimes I even try on myself to see if I can cast it.  Any ideas?

You're not doing anything wrong. Smite was disabled, as you've noticed, after one of Kane's patches. The initial cleric spell adjustments were stated to be fast, preliminary changes that will adjusted at some point. Looks like smite is still under consideration.

Thanks Minos... I saw the times were changed, but missed the Smite update.  Thanks for the quick reply.  :)
