I just bought a brand new Dell from amazon, and it is quite a nice piece of machinery.  The only problem I'm having with it is I'm no where near used to running windows 8.1 and I cant seem to get razor to load ANY Ultima online clients.  I've tried running as admin, I've tried running in compatibility mode, I've disabled setting in firewall, I've also disabled the DEP that everyone warns that must be done to run Ultima online.  So far the furthest I've gotten is razor will open, I point where I want it to go *here, but have also tried a few other servers just to make sure its not a patch problem etc.* and the port is correct, file paths are all correct, it brings up the razor blade while its getting the files and client ready, and when the bottom text says "Waiting for client to start" and then immediately closes out, sometimes a popup is displayed, but it reacts so quickly *and never at the same interval of time because I've tried to print screen right as it pops up and its juked me vigorously* that I'm never able to capture what its saying.  If anyone is able to help me out I would very much appreciate it, I just spent $300 on this computer who's list price was $799 so I find it hard to believe that it wont run Ultima online at all.

Also, side note and definitely not as important as getting UO to run, I installed off of a disc * the actual manufacturers disc not a bootleg copy * Age of Empires II which will also not play, it opens the menu but when you click play, disappears, maybe something is missing or perhaps something is force closing these windows before they get a chance to open? I figured having my firewall completely disabled for a session would perhaps fix my issue but has yet to bring any improvement into the situation, going to restart now and bring my firewall back up, but again, if anyone has the time to help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback, thank you.

PS
I'm attaching a the last photo I'm able to take of the razor screen before it completely poofs from existence.

Make sure you read the "how to connect" section of the wiki

http://uoevolution.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_Connect

Make a folder in the c: drive, like Evo

Unrar it inside that folder

Point razor to the patch, the data path will be like c:Evo/uoevolutioncustom client

Make sure you point to our server which is play.uoevolution.com

If you still have issues contact dante and he will be able to teamview with you to resolve

So far I've tried the registry fix for 64x, I've finally figured out my firewall settings and have given Ultima and Razor the required exceptions, everything is set to run in admin mode under the compatibility of windows xp service pack 3 at this point I've deleted and re installed all but the server files for evolution as my internet is almost maxed*don't get me started lol I had to do all my computer updates at someone else's house this morning just to run into this Ultima mess* so as of right now while im at home I cant re download the server files to keep trying to connect so I've resorted to trying to connect to the default razor servers and still haven't been able to get an actual Ultima client to open after razor is started, the same happens with steam. I've also since my original posting, actually set Ultima and razor on the DEP acceptance list as when I first stated I had done that id merely turned the option to allow for the programs listed but didn't list any lol....either way every fix I've seem to have found hasn't helped, I will note that after placing the programs on the exception list that the mouse does seem to do a lot more thinking animation after razor starts than before.  I've texted my friend that usually fixes these issues for me but he's being lame and sleeping so hopefully either he contacts me soon or something, why do new computers have to be so difficult?
