I lovely person gave me this wonderful item.  Im asking here so we can have a full disclosure on the item.


Where can I get them? A: A GM with EDs as currency (25), or a player (which is extremely rare), as ED or gold currency(unknown).


What do I do with it?  A: You can page a GM to have them placed in your house/on your property. Be aware, if you have a customize your "plot" after a spawner has been placed, it will be placed to under the house sign.  You will need to have a GM relocate the "spawner". Warning: Your house has to be public.


What type of pet can I get?  A: Any "animal", not a monster or a magical creature (basically non-aggressive) It is recommended that you go and tame the pet you want (you can skill & train it if you want; wont retain tho if it should need to be respawned)
You can choose it's Color and Name, if you wish.


Can it get "out" or can I loose it"?  A: It has a set "roaming Range" that it abides by. "roaming Range" is set by the GM, to which you state what range you want it to roam.  Unless tamed, killed or lured away, the pet will remain within its "roaming range".  Should it be tamed or killed, it will respawn, but not with the same stats, only the color/name (should you have chosen such) will be retained.

Regarding can it get loose: critters will stay in the set range of their spawner provided they are not lured off one way or another. For it to get loose, you can tame and release. Doing so will break its tie to the spawner.

I have one of these so I will do my best to answer...

• The only way I am aware of obtaining an animal spawner is through ED (25).
• They must be placed by a GM, if you customize your plot after the spawner will be moved to under the sign and a GM will need to move it back.
• To my knowledge you can get any "animal", but no monsters and no "magic animals" (e.g. Dragon, etc.) For example I have a ferret.
• They could be lured away or tamed/killed, but a new one will respawn although the gender and stats will change. FYI you can have the animal named and colored and when it respawns it will retain both.

Sage, all you have to do is page and a staff member will come. Give them the item and tell them what pet and a name if you want a specific name. Your house will need be public *can set the security for owner only on the doors or friends if you are iffy about the public thing* if I am not mistaken or it will be put outside of the house. Not sure if they can bypass that or not. Or you can have it set right outside your door. Enjoy

One of the things I like to do is help share info, so others coming after me have a resource for info.  Id offer to write wikis, but since I dont know everything, and tend to be wordy (I like to think of it as thorough)...not sure the GMs would enjoy me playing 50 questions.    

LOL Thorgal, good idea, but I dont think Id have enough room for every pets Id like, and cant have dragons running around eating me as I sleepily wander to the kitchen for coffee in the am!
