Trying to do the new contract system of Kanes & well, Im already lost.


I found the tailor shop one, accepted one for different colors of yarn then bought 200 of the same looking yarn in the image, then dyed it red, went to add it to the "contract" & it doesnt get added.


I did  several key word searches on wiki & on our forums, but nothing points to any info except that the contracts are created by Kane & are in game.


Would anyone be kind enough to help me understand what I am doing wrong?

Currently there are three types of yarn on the client. Without getting too technical, this is the problem, a number of players have run into. I'll explain The yarn you make from wool you skin off sheep, and the yarn you make off wool you gather from sheep you kill are different 'item types'. Added to that the yarn changes again to a third 'type' when you put it in and take it from a key.

But to clarify so you can do the quest...the yarn required in this one is the yarn you get when skinning live sheep. I know this is annoying. We have two choices with the contracts for this issue...we can work around it and specify in the contract which type we want, or change the contract system to specify more than one type.

So far wool seems to be the only consumable we've encountered with this issue. So I am not sure if/when we will change the contract system to accept multiple types of one item. I DO intend to remove that rewrite that contract before the end of the month.

I feel that Im a major fail at following directions now.  ><


I sheared live sheep, made the wool to 'yarn'. I then went & dyed the 'yarn' red, but it didnt make 'red yarn', but I tried to stick it into the contract anyways, no luck. I went to the tailor shop, hoping there was 'red dye" somewhere to be found, no luck. 


I feel like such a failure in being unable to follow a simple contracts needs. Please, help!
