Hello,
I have been trying to pick up the journal (quest item) for the archeology quest for two days now. I have killed over a 100 graverobbers, but it still doesn't drop.
I'm in tram-Ophidean temple, and after consulting allot of people, that's agreed upon as the right spot for it.

i have killed the last 30 or so with 1560 luck and still nothing.

I'm doing something wrong, but i have no clue what...
No, it works fine, just tested it

Yea like I said, I don't think it was really needed, just something I observed.  Kind of a, I must go out and spin in a circle three times to the left then twice to the right, followed by hopping on one foot with my left eye closed, before this item will drop.  Gotta love those voodoo luck rituals we put credibility in haha.

lol i have tried a few voodoo hoodoo rituals but still unable to drop the journal.
I talk to the quest giver every time before i start killing them...

Perhaps Dante can shed some light on the matter? is it me or is there something wrong with the system? i'd like to dive in head first asap! :)

Just read this post and went to check for you. i have 200 luck on and  killed 6 grave robbers and got the journal. so it works.


pm me i game if you want me to show you where i went. make sure your in the same spot.

It still drops, I've gotten 4 today, and I only had to kill 4 grave robbers total to get it, hehehe.

glad it still works :)
i just now killed 11 robbers, and no quest drop item.
Unless it looks like pants or a shirt i ain't seen it  :P

Perhaps possible to give coordinates (UoAm or cartographer?), cause i'm not in your timezone i'm affraid.

i just now got one journal...
must be rotten luck for not getting such a high drop rate like you guys...

Are you sure those are the right coordinates Meta? i seem to end up somewhere else when i enter them...

Hi Peter,

I am wondering if you are using a claim to loot corpse? If you are you need to add the log book for the archaelogist by using [claim -t. I have killed 1 grave robber and got the log book.

Btw I highly suggest hunting with a high luck suit, I usually use my luck suit when I hunt graverobbers. I got a pix of my graverobbers hunting posted on uoevo fb page for the contest.

i guess luck 'could' affect it. I was just not getting a single journal for days. They start to drop now about every other time when i visit the spawn.
Don't use [grab command. I rummage through the corpses, and the journals are hard to miss :)

It would be best to add the journal to your loot bag and just use the [grab command, thats what I do and it works perfectly fine, dont need to bother opening the corpse.
