So I wanted to move on to the custom quests.  Some seem very long and some seem very hard (some both), but others seem doable at my newish level.  I have 70 resists, using Soul Seeker (3x40 leech - radiant), Shield (Fever or something like that) and a mix of daemon, fortune and ethereal armor (100LRC, few 100 luck, and a few other misc.stat bumps).  I also have a 40lvl GD or a 30 level Cu to back me up.  Looking for a good talisman as well.

Did Zelda, Astral Daemon, so far.  What should I be focusing on next Magi? Dragon cloak (over my head I think)? Any others before the rest?

This is all new to me, so I appreciate any input/help.

Pete,

Your best bet at this point, you already have astro daemon, and fortune.  would probably be to class-up to a better weapon/shield combo.  A good Triple Leech Champ Axe will serve you _very_ well and a mirror shield with it's HCI/DCI and SSI will keep you from taking too many hits to the head ;)

At this point you need to look into getting 120s for the following skills, they will be _very_ helpful

I'm going to try to list this in order of importance:

Swords, Tactics, Anatomy, Parry, Necro & Spirirt Speak (For Vamp, Curse wep and Wraith/Wither), Chivalry & Bushido (For Evasion, Consecrate, Confidence and Divine Fury), Lumberjacking (For the Axe weapon bonus damage) and Hiding (Note that this is only last on the list because it requires a Powerskull to obtain)

For a Double Axe you're going to want to get one that is crafted with 40+ triple leech, and at least 40+ of one hit spell (Not including Dispel)  This is not going to be an inexpensive proposal, as those weapons aren't necessarily easy to come by.  If you want you can farm Platinum Runic Hammers (Or Toxic ones, they are less powerful, but far easier to farm) and then find a Blacksmith to craft you one.  (Shena and Thallos make wonderful weapons) Or you can attempt to find one on sale from a vendor, but be careful not all of those weapons are great.

Once you have a weapon with the required stats (Trip Leech and a Hit Spell) you have a choice, I prefer to have two hit area attacks on my axe, whereas others prefer one hit area and more hit spells.  Either way you will level Hit Lightning (Or Hit Fireball if it already has Lightning) up to 50% and then either Magic Arrow or Harm (Again, dont level Dispel it is mostly useless) Or Hit Energy or Poison Area to 50%.

Then you will want to socket Hit Cold Area (A mythic and legendary sapphire will take 5 sockets and give 65% hit cold area) as well as one-hand and add Reptile slayer to the axe.

This weapon will see you through to end-game.  The Reptile Slayer Ice Axe that i am wearing was crafted by Shena, and it is my most used weapon.

This will allow you to take on harder enemies than before and start building up currency with which to obtain upgrades in the future. Mind you, this is expensive.  But it is 100% worth it.

AFTER you have your Axe, Work on getting incremental upgrades to your armor, things like the Kas Legs, or (male) Chest of the Magi.  Try to get to where you have 300 HP which will allow you to take on more and more difficult bosses (A lot of bosses deal large hits, such as the gem and ancient dragons have a 250 damage fireball)  Once you have a good Champ Axe you will be able to do champion spawns, These are farmed quite a bit, but if you work at it you can get a few done.  And a lot of people will let you join in because it makes the spawn go faster. (Do beware of Reds or shifty Blues though :P )

Hopefully this helps set you into a direction, And as always you can PM me on the forum or in game to ask any questions.
