Ahoy,

I understand that Gargoyles are not a main focus and that it is suggested that they be used for RP (non-main), but I wanted to play around with a Gargoyle character a bit (I have 2 human mains) and found some tricky issues. I raised up throwing to 100 using the training elementals and decided to move on to sword. None of the training weapons are usable by a Gargoyle and normal weapons damage the training elementals and the elementals damage you. In fact I was killed while fixing dinner and I lost my corpse with my gargoyle starting equipment (no biggie). When I rezzed my throwing was back to 0 as well? I rolled another Gargoyle with more gargoyle starting weapons with the same results. I paged a GM and it was explained that Gargoyles are not well supported and I should consider a human character. Should I give up on a Gargoyle character? Is there a quest or token to change a human to gargoyle? Thoughts?

Throwing... I read on the wiki and in the patch notes that throwing can be used by any race. I thought I would train up throwing on one of my human characters. I used one of my gargoyle's throwing weapons and made it to the 10.1 mark and then stopped gaining. I read this had been fixed earlier in the summer, but perhaps I am doing it wrong? Thoughts or suggestions? Do I need to use a skill ball? I know throwing is not that great, but it looks cool and is different, gut I don't want to spend any more time on it if it is not an option.

Thanks in advance,

Schuyler

Throwing is a gargoyle skill and can only be added to another race by a skillball

Okay thanks. Why would my 100 (GM) throwing on a Gargoyle reset to 0, twice?

*UPDATE*
I found my issue, AssistUO does not display the throwing value. It displays it as all zeros, but the skill gump in game shows throwing at 100.
