Ahoy,

I have a character that I would like to use a specific weapon (image). It cannot be crafted and the versions available in game (that I know of) are fairly basic/weak. I was reading the Wiki on Weapon Modification (via ED) and I have some questions...

·         Add One Level to your weapon 10 ED
o   I assume this only work for crafted items
·         Add Max levels to a weapon, 500 spend points, 500 ED (this is a half price bulk deal)
o   Same assumption above
·         +100 Luck Deed 100 ED (Max 200 luck per item)
o   Can this be added to any weapon even if it is not crafted?
·         Item Rename Deed 50 ED
o   How is this compared to the weapon engraving tool? The tool adds an engraving, but what does the deed do, actually rename it?
·         Add Self Repair 5 to a weapon 50 ED
o   I understand this one and from what I hear anything more than +5 is a waste?
·         Add Max durability (255/255)to an item 50ED
o   Can this be added to non crafted weapons?
·         Mage Armor Deed 50 ED
o   Why would I add this to a weapon?

Are there any other ways to add attributes to a weapon that is not crafted by a player?

Thank ye

++ Add One Level to your weapon 10 ED

-- Yes this is for crafted weapons only.

++ Add Max levels to a weapon, 500 spend points, 500 ED (this is a half price bulk deal)

-- This one as well.

++ +100 Luck Deed 100 ED (Max 200 luck per item)

-- You can do that without paging, go to trinsic, buy +100 luck deed from the ed stone and use it on whatever you want, clothings, jewelries, armor, weapon, luck mount etc.

++ Item Rename Deed 50 ED

-- Weapon engraving tool can just be used on nonsocketed weapons as I know, if you socket an engraved weapon, engraving disappears. Also, lets say it is a zircote composite bow, when you move your cursor on it, it says "zircote composite bow". Item rename deed changes that part.

++ Add Self Repair 5 to a weapon 50 ED

-- Again, like +100 luck deed, you can buy +1 self repair deeds by the ed stone in Trinsic for 10ed each. And in my opinion, as long as you stay away from the acid by some peerless bosses, 4 self repair is enough to keep max durability on an armor/weapon.

++ Add Max durability (255/255)to an item 50ED

-- I think this can be done to any kind of weapon/armor. But you can do this with a blacksmith bod reward "powder of fortifying", if I am not wrong each use gives 10 max durability. Some players sell those.

++ Mage Armor Deed 50 ED

-- That would be useless and would be a waste on a weapon I think.

The mage armor deed should not apply to a weapon. It is for armor-- I know right-- and allows the armor to be meddable.

Thank ye Sturger. I figured as much, but I have seen the odd weapon with "Mage Armor" and thought perhaps I was missing something.  ;)

Any other modifications I can make to a non-craftable weapon based the ones already listed?
