I can still claim two of the 120 Powerscrolls from my New Player Donation but can’t make up my mind which to claim and would like the opinion of some of you that have been around here for a while.  My character is something of a Jack of all trades.  Here are some other points about my play style:

• Primarily I’m into crafting and PvM.
• I mostly play solo but have recently joined KoE for some group play.
• My main weapon is a bow but I sometimes switch to swords or mace weapons along with magic.
• I’ve already claimed a 120 powerscroll and used it on Taming.
• I’ve got GM on all the combat, crafting, Taming and Resource skills (actually GM on 80% of all skills and still have a skill ball with 650 points on it).
• I’ve been stockpiling boards, leather and ore for later use when my skills are high enough that I don’t waste it.
• I’m saving T-maps to do some treasure hunting.
• I’ve already got GM fishing and plan to fish for MIB.
• Archaeology sounds interesting to me.
• I do work on BOD’s (all of the different professions at the moment) but I’m not obsessive about it.

• Blacksmithing
• Mining
• Bowcrafting and Fletching
• Lumberjacking
• Tailoring

Your play style and mine sound very similar.  The crafting power scrolls are all very expensive from what I have seen.  I went for lumberjacking and mining 120s as quick as possible.  There are new woods and ores added for post 100 skills and I did not want to spend hours gather resources without the chance to gain those.


For PvM solo I would suggest looking into a sampire build.  I played one on the production servers and was insanely powerful.  I started off on Evolution with that build and was able to solo balrons and ancient wyrms fairly quickly.

The Powerscrolls I’ve been considering so far are these:

• Blacksmithing
• Mining
• Bowcrafting and Fletching
• Lumberjacking
• Tailoring

I’ve not seen any of these for sale on vendors (except one for mining at a cost of 6 mil) so I’m assuming they are not all that easy to get without spending a large sum of gold.  Being a new player my funds are limited so I want to make the best use of the two that I can claim. 

If I could I would just make a donation to obtain all of them but I’m unemployed and living on a fixed military pension so my budget limits what I can spend in real life on this game.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

I would take a look at your current maximums prior to using any of your skulls. You may have a surprise.
