Hello Everyone,
We are here with Kyn, one of the staff with EVO, and Keldon to talk about the vendor stones.

So I have been hunting for a couple of weeks and heard about there being "secret vendor stones”. Could we get some basic information on where some of these stones are?

One of the highly sought after stones on EVO, is in the doom gauntlet. This vendor stone offers some pretty cool deco and the doom armor set. Another important one, is the black-rock vendor. It has the black-rock elemental and some other really good armor on it.

I know there is a gate down to doom for that area. How hard is it to get to some of the other stones?

A lot of the stones are out in the middle of nowhere. They are something you just kind a stumble across. To be honest, I would say that there is a good 50% or better of stones that have yet to be discovered.

Awesome, that gives an explorer such as myself something to do. Now you mentioned the Doom vendor is that one you would recommend to start working on as a new player?

I know the doom pants are extremely popular. They are one of the most prized pieces from doom. On that same note Doom is not and area for a new player just to jump into but it is something to work towards. It is something to work towards. Locating the stone, gathering the scrolls, and then picking up the leggings are extreme. I would rate the pants as being the best on the shard.

Okay, could you possible give me a stone or two that would be ones to focus on for a new player?

We don’t really have any “set in stone” vendors for new or old players. The stones are there for you to discover. General you have to farm a resource in the area to purchase the items off of it.

Do you guys change the items on the stone and how often?

Well like to change the items every shard publish or every other. We also like to keep it diverse so you are not going to see the same items. You should see a wider more broad collection of unique items that you cannot normally get anywhere else.

What about changing locations of the stones?

Not really, we make look into it so we can get some of the harder positioned stones more into the public view. We do not up and move stones without letting the players know. You will not catch us moving the doom stone out into the middle of the ocean or anything like that.

You mentioned the ocean, is there a stone floating around out there?

There might be a pirate vendor stone out there……maybe.
How would you feel about giving out some info on where to go looking? Like Ishlenar for example.

We are trying to cover the different faucets Ish is a cool faucet and we want to do more with it. Ish in general is a good place to look around and explore for new players. You never know what you might find out there.

That covers most of the questions I had
about the stones. Is there anything else you would like to add?

Yeah, keep in mind that a tree might not be a tree a boat might not be a boat, keep your eyes open. We try and mix it up. There is no tell tell signs but if you are in a desolate area and see a blooming tree; I would stop and click on it.
I heard something about shopping stones. So where are these shopping stones at?

The shopping stones are located all over the world...literally. The locations are generally not disclosed openly but some of the more famous ones are in the bottom of the new player dungeon, the ilshenar savage camp(honey and slumgum), and the doom gauntlet (doom scrolls).

How hard is it to get to those stones?

Some of the stones are fairly easy to get to.  Since I focused on three in particular I will keep with those.  The stone in the new player dungeon is at the very bottom.  As you kill mobs throughout they will drop the currency for that stone.  This armor is meant to help give new players a leg up starting off on the server as well as let them get a taste of combat on evolution.  The stones in the savage camp is easy to get to with either hide/stealth (just walk in and do your shopping) or with Savage Kin paint (cooking preparations, second page) and run around with the savages as one of their own.  Do not attack a savage with paint as it will burn off and do damage.  The doom scroll stone is just a simple trip across the Lake Mortis which is in the southern part of dungeon doom.  To get across you ring a bell and pay the ferryman a golden skull.  I will leave the rest of the doom scroll stone secret for you to figure out.  The doom armor is unbelievably awesome but with rewards this great the risk is just as high.

Do you recommend starting with any particular stone or item to go for?

Different stones have different items.  If you are literally brand new I would suggest finding the new player armor stone in the new player dungeon.  The Savage camp stone has items focused on luck and taming/animal lore.  The doom gauntlet stone is some very elite gear.

Do these items change and if so, how often?

4.  These special stones scattered across the land do not change that I have seen.  The stones outside of brit bank, trinsic bank, and at the red city will sometimes get items added or removed.  This is a slowly evolving process.

How hard are these stones to find?

Click on everything.  When Dante or Kyn add a new stone they do not disclose where it is.  I think one of the newer stones added to the gamewas in place for 6 weeks or so before Dante finally had an event that revealed the location of the stone.

Thank you so much for this information. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions. I hope we can get some players out there finding some of these and sharing. Would be neat to possible see an explorers guild sprout up and begin searching for these.
