Would it ever be considered to just have a launcher that would take care of downloads specifically for the ability to adjust and effect more things with just the base client and easier hue updates/content updates?

Yes, I would love a launcher, just takes time, money and scripting:) but yes, we are working on something that makes joining/set up much easier
