The exemple is really bad... when you repair your ferrari, it will be fix at 100%. NO! it is not new and 100%, it was wrecked...Your car will not got any max speed loss because you have hit a wall. It will not be harder to turn after or accelerate after you repaired it. There is no way to find a logical way to justify your way to think, it's just disrespectul for your players to damage a pet stat forever. Why would you think my example is disrespectful? It is a very relevant example of this situation. And to take the example further, cars are meant to wear out over time, due to abuse, wrecks and age. You must keep up with maintenance and take care of it to hold value. No matter how hard you try it still gets old and loses value. The solution is to find a better pet, breed it or continue fixing the old one with diminishing returns. With this system it helps stimulate the economy. If you had a permanant superpet with no loos and no flaws, there would never be a reason to get a new one or trade in game...you may not understand but it is good for the shard and economy, which is our priority
And i've a counter exemple. Broke yourself a leg ok, your body will fix you bones right ? but did you knew that your bones will be harder after than before ?
Bad example, if you break a leg, you may be permanently crippled also...
You want us to think more before using pet ? Reduce damage of all donation pet, stop adding cheated pet like rez/heal pet and reduce hp of some no strategy monster with 65k hp (hitting for 20min a monster without moving or doing anything is just not fun, pet are the only way sometimes to reduce time killing) Yes that is a single strategy use for a single monster. We have thousands of monsters with unique strategies
Look at the sin dungeon, we can't use pet, it's great and hard, you have to be careful at every moment to survive. You did a great job with it (except for teleporter timer... it's just not funny to wait) So why are you complaining, this is the perfect example of the diversity of the shard and the use of different strategies to defeat monsters?
