Hi!
I'm relatively new on this shard (<1 month) with some questions about custom items. I hope that the vets and/or experience players might be able to answer. Any other tips would also be appreciated.
But first, a little bit about my play style. I mainly solo, PVM. I notice on this server, there is a heavy weight towards champ axe with high parry. Despite that, I may still go towards a path of archer-Mage/tamer(as cannon fodder) PVM. Here are my questions.
1. Level up items. Two questions.
(a) What is the max spell damage percentage that you could increase on these level up items? Like how max durability is 255, max HCI is 15%, Hit lower X is 50%, etc. I hope it is at least 50% SDI.
(b) Range-weapon & Champ Axe. Assuming that I have a very well crafted weapon with the important stats covered. Which hit X area (cold/fire/etc) would you recommend?
2. Magi Cloak. I just need to confirm... the cloak appears normal (no stats/buff info), but from my research it seem to adds benefits. Would any body know the full benefits and could list them for me? I hope it doesn't varies.
3. Sockets/augment. A very technical question. Would the +dmg augument (physical & spell), alter the base damage first [case1]or does +additional damage after the final damage calculation with all the damage increase shenanigans [case2]?
In case1, DI/SDI would further increase the damage, while the second case is just a flat rate increase. I just want good info to properly invest in these gems. They are expensive for a newplayers. I acknowledge that +parry seems to be the norm.
Lastly, are there any end-game PVM mages (or caster) on this shard? I may need future advice for gears, custom monster killing, etc.
