Since nothing has been mentioned, I would assume parry + bushido functions as described on UOGuide or Stractics. This means only using one or two handed weapons to get the block boost. The use of a shield would drastically lower that chance.
Kane may rework it, as it has been done previously on the server. I was not a fan of those changes, but there are those interested in allowing shields with bushido.
