Sooooo, I don't want to go into too much detail on these items but just know that a plethora of new STEALABLE decorations will be available soon. They will require at least 100 Stealing to procure, obviously the better your skill the better your chances. These will also run off the Doom Rare system timers which I've estimated and listed below based on Artifact Rarity:

  • Level 1: 1 - 2 hours
  • Level 2: 2.5 - 3.5 hours
  • Level 3: 5 - 7.5 hours
  • Level 4: 9.5 - 15 hours
  • Level 5: 19 hours - 1.5 days
  • Level 6: 1 - 2 days
  • Level 7: 3 - 5 days
  • Level 8: 6 - 10 days
  • Level 9: 12 - 20 days
  • Level 10: 25 - 39 days
  • Level 11: 51 - 77 days
  • Level 12: 102 - 153 days
What I'm looking for are suggestions for some decoration stealables you'd like to see and what you think the timers for the ??? should be in relation to the levels around them. I obviously can't guarantee you'll see the item you want, but I will do my best to fit it into the themes I'm working on.

Would be cool to be able steal an active Flame Strike (repeating animation). Maybe if the flame strike was able to be turned on/off by a stolen device / tile of some sort.

I'd like to see more in the lines of stealable blood splatters. Maybe a few blood tiles. They could be across the board on timers based on how popular a particular tile is.

The gargoyle candelebra starting at 0x40BE.

The stone tiles from 0x40A3 to 0x40BB. Those runes look cool.

The profession cases from 0x5307 to 0x5326. So cool. Also 0x5471 to 0x549A

A real toilet 0x535F and 0x5360.

All that savage deco like this -0x5512.

I'll leave the rarity and timers up to you since I am not too sure myself. I would like to see some of this stuff with a stealing difficulty higher than 120.

I'm an alchemy lover so I'd say bottles (differant shapes then what we have now), beakers, burrettes, coils, drip tubes, spilled alchemical agents, reagents, dusts and powders.
 
Your introducing golem crafting so metal plating, gears, cogs, wires, stacks of bricks in valorite, verite, blaze. ect. Maybe even a tesla coil (think Heartwood gate), or a golem head/body parts.
 
Magical Cricles in red/green/blue (not the pentagram or abbitior) or mabe even a differant colored pentagram/abbitior. Possibly runes or summoning circles (peferably not scrawled in blood since we already have that), sparkely portals, big oversized books.
 
That's all I can think of for right now...I'll look in game and see if anything really stickes out and says "this would be awesome deco".

I am already looking how to make the "chance to steal" artifacts reflective of the direction we are moving with the other skills.  So yes, the rarest of artifacts will take higher then say stealing a few potion bottles.

Very good suggestions. As Kane stated, the more rare an item, the more difficult it will be to steal. No set date yet for the new artifacts but I'll be sure to post up more info.

  Imagine:

  "So, I'm a Grandmaster Thief, yah know. I have 100 stealing, 100 snooping; my hiding is 100, and so is my stealth. Anyways I was in the dungeon Despise, doing my thing; Stealing. And wouldn't yah know, I found a curious new potion on a weird looking Blue Lizard. After examining my new find, a purple potion with a black ichor at its center. I decided to sample a small dose of it. Yuke! That was nasty, but at least it didn't kill me right?!? Any ways during all the fuss I seemed to have spilled the rest of the potion on my tunic. Yes, I was a bit mad, but that was before the timely accident saved my life. Yah see, on my way out of the dungeon a very angry Lizard Chieftain and his blue skinned cronies jumped me. It was a fight for my life, indeed, but after a good 20 minute battle; I was some how still alive. I sure don't know what was in that potion vial, but it protected me for a good dozen or so stabs and thrusts from the scaly spear wielders. Not a Scratch I tell yah. Not a one! Rogue's Honor...


Any ways the whole point is that rare artifacts are nice and all, but it makes the Rogue a novelty. Good items only a rogue can find help the economy, revitalize the Rogue/Thief class, and add even more quality to EVO game play.

I have thought about adding other "non-deco" artifacts to be stolen, and there might still be, but I try not to add anything to the shard that will give any sort of power. That's why I stick with deco. I might look into adding more Rogue-ish situations into the game...

Indeed Expo. I agree with you along the lines of artifacts, per say.

  As of now a rogue goes out and steals static items... this in itself is wonderful. I am unsure if any one truly just stands around in Fel and tries to steal from players. I am also unsure if that is even allowed here.

  Overall I was hoping for more PvM stealables. As killing/stealing from a MoB is pretty much the same thing. I would enjoy sneaking up on a monster to steal from it, in hopes of finding a secret item. Gold is one thing, but something that can't be easily won is where I was going with my original post.

  Wishful thinking I guess... thanks for the feed back Expo.  8)

Just built a church in fel for fun. I could really use a church bell. I like the one in doom, but ya know, without the ferryman of the damned summoning. Might be kinda cool.

There are runebooks in Domino's rune library that have the stealables.  I'd imagine it's a complete list.  :)

  Dumb question.

  I have stolen items before, always in tokuno, and these items always have a rarity attached to them. Is this going to be the case with all stealables? In the future and from the past; before the Tokuno X-pac?

That's not a dumb question at all. I'd hate to have to go around attempting to steal every static in sight. It would be much easier if they have an artifact rarity attached to them.

For the new rares, yes, they will have an artifact rarity tag on them which is going by the timers posted in the first post. But since I am also working on the original daily rares, those will NOT have an artifact rarity tag on them because they were around before tagging (albeit on accident) BUT you will still have to use the Stealing skill to procure them.

perhaps adding some items like the head of GM's   or Heart of Zoe.  perhaps a shadowstone (obalisk).  another question one may ask is does it have to be a deco item a rare mount, armour, weapon, or a deed item would be nice to steal.  perhaps some of the newer bookcase or glass display cases would be nice.

if the new rares location are not disclosed at least a picture of the items  or.
admin certified spread sheet of confirmed rares that spawn
and photos of those that spawn.

  I'd like stuff to be some what secretive/word of mouth.  Just posting locations kills the whole idea, where is the adventure in finding stuff. I still have yet to find a secret vendor stone. But I look every day. Keeps me playing, and keeps others paying... ha ha  8)

That is what the new stealable artifacts will look like. If you do an AllNames, you will see the names of many things, including stealables and just plain deco items.

Yay! I was sad to see that many of the old stealables were MIA, I'm glad to see them here (judging by your teaser pic).
