Thank you very much in advance for the help.  I have seen many posts discussing things around this topic, but can't find a direct yes or no answer.  I want to know if mining is affected by luck in any way (and if any other resource gathering [wood chopping, fishing, ect] are affected by luck).  Been looking everywhere for this answer! checked wiki and this forum for hours!

I am going to say no. A big no from me

I am going to say no when it comes to mundane chopping, mining, or skinning of creatures.

 I am going to say yes, when it come to using a gargoyle item, which allows the character using the item to have a chance at summoning a resource elemental.


  These Summoned Elemental, drop runic kits, and usually 50 resources of the specific type summoned. (this includes the color/type)

 
 Vindicator was right, when he said no. I just felt the need to point out this second observation, because it is the whole answer in my mind. I'm just weird like that.
