It is not hard for me to say that I know a lot about UO, and UOE, but not everything. Now, with the obvious pointed out, I was wondering if any one had the answer to the following questions.

I was recently looking over some crafted weapons, on various vendors, and I noticed that a few of them had the following traits:

    *Fire Damage       25%
    *Cold Damage      25%
    *Poison Damage   25%
    *Energy Damage   25%

My question is --- how would the chivalry skill 'Consecrate Weapon' effect the above mentioned traits? Does it just turn all of my weapon damage into the creatures worst resistance type? If so, do multiple damage types, on weapons, have a purpose, since anyone can use the 'Consecrate Weapon' spell, which might null them?

My last question is, should I not use the 'Consecrate Weapon' spell when I am using a weapon with multiple damage types? If so, what is the advantage?

I think that is a zircote weapon made with carpentry/bowcrafting.

What I know about the "consecrate weapon" chivalry spell is, it lets you to deal the type which is your enemies weakest. Your karma takes a big role in the duration of that spell of course, as it is a chivalry spell.

For example if you are killing a dragon (which has the cold resist lowest) and you have an ice weapon with 100% cold damage, even if you cast "consecrate weapon" I don't think it will differ anything.[/color]
